  1. We have Field Reps that our RingCentral users call on a daily basis. I have been asked multiple times if I can create contacts for the field reps and their mobile numbers for all users so everyone did not have to create them. We have more than 50 contacts. This would be a nice feature for only the Admin to delete/edit/manage/add the "global contact".

  2. This would allow users to set automated text responses similar to how they would on an email. Anyone who tries texting a RingCentral number that is in Do Not Disturb mode or outside of business hours will receive an automatic reply.

  3. I would like to add an feature to your SMS texting feature. I would like to send out a SMS text to remind an employee that they have to work on Wed, and today is Monday. We are a scheduling company that has 100+ employees and always are dealing with employees calling out sick. We would like to remind them at a later date to go to work. For instance, if someone calls out today and its Monday and they have to work Wednesday, we would like to text them on tues ( tomorrow ) to see if they will…

  4. In New RC, it appears there is not a way to duplicate / copy a team. This feature is widely and heavily used within our org. We have a template team with members and tasks for each project, and this team is duplicated every time a new project lands. This is used a significant number of times a day/week, and incredibly critical to our org. needs.Without this feature, the RC app is very useless to us in terms of internal project and time management.

  5. I hope we will have an option to create an auto response in SMS so whenever someone sent SMS we can send them an auto response. It will be very beneficial for every company and will saves time.

  6. While out of the office, not everyone calls to hear we are out of the office but I always come back to multiple text messages. If an out of office feature could be added when we get a text, it would be extremely helpful!

  7. It would be nice to have an option for certain lines or all lines to have a feature where it will send a message saying the message/sms has been recived. Or allow for a custom reposnse to be sent out to the user.As a company where we get texts to our main line this would help as we do not reply to the via text, we then use email. By having this it would allow for the person sending the message to lknow that it has eben received.

  8. this is currently not a feature for ring central for any of the ring central product lines. I work in an outpatient community clinic . it would be very helpful so that clients are aware when they text if provider is away from office or off work. this way they don't have to wait for response and be able to contact someone else for faster service. please update me if this is possible in the future. thanks!

  9. It will benefit the business where in customer's are not only reaching them through call but also sending SMS. It will also notify their customers through text if they are not available at the time. It should work like the auto reply and forwarding in email.

  12. We should be able to set an away message on our texts so that if we are on vacation or in a meeting clients know that we're not available, just like we can for a phone or email

  13. The 'Busy' or 'Do not disturb' options only really work when you have a scheduled call. Often, if I receive an unexpected call, I do not use these options. If another call then comes in while I am on the first call, it rings loudly in my ears (I use earbuds through my laptop) and can cause a loss of concentration as I manually divert the second call. Surely RingCentral should be able to determine you are already on a call and divert it to voicemail automatically.

  14. Sometimes callers leave messages that are for a different department or a different colleague. It would be helpful to have a button to transfer the voicemail message to a different extension.

  15. Hi. Our customer is suggesting that we should have an option to disable/enable the call waiting in our RingCentral application. This is specific for direct calls. So if a user is already engaged on the call, we can disable the call waiting to prevent another call to be connected to the user who is already engaged, and the call should be connected to the Voicemail. We can imagine that call waiting may be kinda annoying to some users as their app will be ringing while already on a call.

  16. It is very surprising this isn't already built in and would be a crucial feature. EX: When out of office, being able to alert any inbound calls/texts that you are out of office and provide any other contact details. Any other Phone SMS app/device has this feature so adding it would be greatly appreciated

  17. It would be useful so that you can forward a voicemail message to another user. From the App you would click on the phone icon, all voicemail, click on the three dots, and then there would be a forward option, and you could forward it to another extension.If you were to call in and check your voicemail, you could forward from the IVR and add a message, similar to a supervised call transfer, but this would be a supervised voicemail message transfer.

  18. Currently, when a transferred voicemail is received in the RC app it displays the number of the extension that performed the transfer, rather than the name/number of the caller that left the original voicemail.
