    In the RingCentral Windows app integrated with Microsoft Outlook, users can right-click a phone number in the body of an email to initiate a call using the softphone.
    This feature is highly appreciated as it allows users to call clients directly from their signature phone numbers without additional steps.

    Problem:

    The ability to right-click and dial is not available for phone numbers in the subject line of emails.

    Settings on mobile app to ensure to do not incur costs for international calls

    Hi. I've enabled international calling using the admin console. I wanted to check that using the mobile app wouldn't result in call charges as per guidance at

  6. We request the development of a feature that allows for the bulk re-syncing of users to Microsoft Direct Routing as part of the integration with RingCentral. This enhancement is intended to extend the current "Presence Sync" functionality, which is presently only available for the embedded RingCentral app within Microsoft Teams.

    The "Presence Sync" feature currently enables the synchronization of user presence between Microsoft Teams and RingCentral; however, it is limited to the embedded RingCentral app within MS Teams. There is no functionality available for users utilizing Microsoft Direct Routing.

  8. Summarize only messages with Team and direct mentions with links to each such message in big chats. It's much more helpful than current "Summarize unread messages" in chats with many participants, where occasional important messages are posted for everyone, or some questions may be asked directly to me, but lost with other mentions.

  11. Where would an end user go to audibly record their name for use in the system directory. I can find a setting for this within service.ringcentral.com, but cannot at app.ringcentral.com. It is my assumption that we want the end user going to app.ringcentral.com rather than service.ringcentral.com. It seems counter-intuitive to direct them to another site for this setting.

  14. Within the desktop and mobile messaging application, having a "back" button would allow users to easily navigate between typing in a conversation and returning to a separate conversation, after researching/referencing/etc.

    Since the mobile app keeps newest messages at the top it is easy to navigate if a message has been made, but what if you've been searching for information from a previous conversation in order to speak with a new contact? you may wish to reference or return to the conversation. Rather than searching again, having a navigational "previous message" (and/or "next message") would facilitate the process and speed up…

    The download link for the MSI app is hidden on the download page, reportedly to semi-force customers to adopt the auto-update version and reliquish internal control of the updates to RC.

    Customers must remain in control of the version installed within their company environments.
