Option to Disable or Defer RingCentral App Auto-Update Prompts
Currently, the RingCentral app automatically prompts users to download and install updates by delivering a new .exe or .apk file. This behavior can interrupt workflows, especially in managed IT environments or for users with limited install permissions.
We request an optional setting for end-users or IT admins to disable, defer, or schedule app updates, allowing more flexibility and minimizing disruptions during daily operations.

Alert or indicator that a call is on hold.
There should be an indicator or alert sound when a call is on hold for a specified period.

Color of profile icon
I’d like to submit a feature request on behalf of the customer. She asked if there could be an option to change the color of the profile icon in the RingCentral app when no profile picture is uploaded. Currently, the icon defaults to a preset color with the user's initials, and she would like the ability to customize that for a more personalized experience.

Make the 'External Shared Contacts Directory' visible to the RingCentral Desktop Plugin
Although we enabled the 'External Shared Contacts Directory' as directed in the KB provided (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Managing-the-shared-directory-of-external-contacts-in-the-RingCentral-Admin-Portal.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US), the newly added contact is not recognised by the desktop plugin but IS recognised by the Teams addon

After the update, the only way to access those advanced settings is via the admin portal.
Add them back to the Application.

Archive Intel Integration Including Everything
It would be terrific if an integration with Archive Intel could be better than SMS archiving only. It would be nice to be able to have them be able to archive all teams messages, faxes, and other communications. The SMS archive is already great.

If there any RC system update user should not only be advise but also informed about the result. like if the update prompt them to log off

They were just surprise that after the software update (RC app) that all users automatically been log out of the RC system. which was not advise on the software update to set their expectationThey want to include this as disclaimer in the future so that this will not puzzle them

Editing the F6 Hotkey and Adding a quick action button for AI notes in the Keyboard shortcuts in the RingCentral Desktop app
Customer wanted to have an option to set-up a Shortcut key on the RingCentral app to enable the AI notes and to have an option to update the F6 hotkey to make a phone call since the customer is using the F6 shortcut key with another application.

The ability to turn direct messaging conversations between two users into group conversations where the new participant can access the old conversations.

New feature tutorials feature in RingCentral app.
When presented with RingCentral new features, the pop-up remains on the screen without a way out of it for minutes at a time. Users should have the option to opt-out rather than turning off New feature tutorials settings from the RingCentral app.

Add sessionID or RingEX callID as a parameter option in"Launch an external app or website".
I like the option to launch an external website, and we already use this in RingCX, we can pass the UII in RingCX to map the call back to the call detail easily using the UII.RingEX does not have a similar function since it only allows you to pass customer info like phone # and name. If the agent talks to the customer multiple times it can be more difficult to map it back to the correct call record.
