  1. The pre-formatted message that comes up when you park a call in the desktop app is great! But it sends a text message. Our users are using Glip. Possible to give an option to copy text to a Glip instead?

  2. My business has 6 inbound numbers; one main and 5 fax lines. All SMS to any of the numbers is directed to a single extension. Currently, there is no way to tell for which number the text is intended. Identifying which line the text came in on would help us determine if it is simply a "robo-call" or a response to the sender is required.

  3. Currently there is no way to filter the logs using the status of the call, whether it is in progress. missed or answered. It would be great if we can add a filter to check the status of the call on the call log on the portal or on the application so that we can check easily how many minutes a current call is.

  4. I should not have to modify my RC Video details in the right panel to remove require password or to just by default meeting ID. I should be able to set those and have the plugin remember my settings.

  6. When using the RingCentral app on my multi-screen workstation, I will dock the app to the left side of my left screen. When a call comes in, the app will undock and 'restore' itself, forcing me to re-dock the app after every call.

  8. To be able to re-arrange tabs on the right panel. So for example I would like to keep the panel narrow (only 3 tabs) and am most interest in seeing "pinned", "task", "note" instead of "pinned", "files", "notes" without having to go to "..."

  10. When using the webhook on the Glip API, received messages in a Team show only the "like" and "bookmark" button. Over time the the history of received messages is getting long. It would be nice to be able to delete those messages without deleting the whole team, re-creating it again, and ending up with a new webhook token of the app added in the Team.

  11. The following backticks do not work on RC Unified app (screenshots attached) when they are actually suppose to work. As a result, RingCentral should add this backtick on the app. Triple backticks also are a feature of Markdown, so RingCentral should support all of Markdown backticks.

Said simply - make it work the way it did in RingCentral (GLIP) Classic.On the left side nav for teams, there are the three dots for a sub menu for teams.Currently the options are:Mark as unreadOpen team profileNotification preferencesMove conversation to...In Classic there was a menu selection for "Post Message Via Email" that would get you the long nonsensical email address directly. Now you must select Open Team Profile and THEN click on ANOTHER three-dot menu. This seems like a huge step backward to essentially bury this function 2 more levels down.

  13. It would be handy to be able to watch or follow a conversation so that if someone replies to a message that you are interested in, you can be alerted. Use case:Colleague A writes a question into a team space. You also need to know the answer to the same question.Colleague B replies to Colleague A with the answer. If you could follow the conversation, then you would be alerted to the response.

  14. When using app.glip.com from a web browser to make a call. The absolutely ideal time to add the personal being called or calling to contacts etc is while on a call. Please an ability to add to contacts from the phone dial page. All after a call finishes and the number is still on the page in front of me I should be able to click and add to contacts right away. Cutting the number and going another page - is not a solution.

  15. It would be useful to have 2 email addresses available under the company contact instead of just one. The purpose of the 2nd email is to allow the user to be reached at an alternate email address, if needed,

  16. While setting up, and troubleshooting user and phone issues, we're finding that the status icons are a tad misleading. While a User status may show green, you have to go into their account, click down to Phones, over to Phones, etc. to then see if the associated phone is active.There is more than enough 'real estate' on the Users with Extensions screen to add an additional status icon - one that shows the state of the phone extension.The hover over text could then read, 'User Enabled' - 'Phone Enabled' - 'ATA Enabled' etc. depending on the unit assigned.This would allow…

Allow ring groups/users forwarding phones for a period of time to go to another user's desktop/mobile apps.This limitation doesn't make sense.If one user is going on vacation and needs to forward their phones, they can only forward to another user that has a desk phone (which means no one working from home).

In the new RingCentral desktop app, when RC identifies a number as a phone number (mostly incorrectly), it's very difficult to actually click-and-drag style highlight that number to copy and paste (I think because of the call, text pop-up that happens). It's impossible to select only a part of the number for the same reason. Double clicking works to select the whole thing, but this deviation from standard UI practices (and from the Classic version app behavior) is jarring.

  19. If an external call dials a direct line on your numbers list, it shouldn't have the ability to transfer to any extension on your extensions list. I had an external number dial a direct line that goes straight to voicemail, but they were able to hit certain keys on their numpad that redirected them to a call queue that has no relation to the direct line they dialed. That should not be possible in my opinion.
