  1. Going to my view log, I noticed that some SMS cost $0.85 (not the $0.00085 advertised) and that some cost up to $5.10c. I reached support to ask why that is, and they told me it has to do with the number of characters.I asked for a table to understand how many characters we can use without going over 5x the base price, or the cost of each SMS plans would be (Marketing), but there is none. It's a bit unreal that we just can't know how much it will cost to send SMS messages. How come there is no table? What…

  2. When making a call, it is not obvious that the headset is on/working until I hear the ringing. This may take 10s of seconds before you hear it, and takes longer to realize that the headset is not on. By that time the person you called may have picked up and hung up. If ringcentral would immediately sound a tone or set of tones to indicate that the call is being made (and then change over to the standard ringing), the person making the call will immediately know whether the headset is on.

  3. if there was a way to pick up your last parked call when you were the one who parked it in the case where you forget to write down the park number and then have to wait for it to ring back to you. Would be super SUPER helpful from call center handling all calls standpoint.

  4. It would be nice to see what time I missed a call. When I miss a call, I do not always receive the notification. Usually it shows the next day. It would be nice to know what time that person called.

  5. In our organization, we have workers in-house and in remote locations. Putting someone on public park has caused confusion since the caller who put the person on park would not listen to where the person was parked and have no idea where that caller went. I have setup "parks" that are visible on the desktops and apps that we can use. HOWEVER, when an agent receives the call and goes to park it, they press the park button and puts it into public parking. Thus the confusion and why disabling public parking might be a better option. Maybe I'm wrong.…

  7. My users would absolutely love to have the ability to fast forward and rewind through long voicemail messages. They are able to do this from the visual UI when logged in to the service web or apps, however most of our users work from desk phones, and there is no such option when listening to the message by phone.

  8. If two callers call in and are placed in Park 1 and Park 2, I want to be able to merge these two with me for a conference call.

  9. The user should be able to toggle which queues to take calls from within the RingCentral Phone Desktop App in the same way that the Manage Queues option is available in the MVP app

  11. our employees do not answer a phone and it goes as missed call. They want to erase their track so that we don't know if they are answering all phone call so they delete the missed phone log or any other call that they feel its to their benefit. We want to have an option to block deleting phone call logs

  12. It would be nice to have a setting to allow all calls to go to voicemail when in meetings, whether they are virtual RC meetings or in person meetings so anything in say a synced Outlook calendar would be able to set phones to DND.

  13. Don't like how the phone window pops up in different places, making me search for it to answer. Phone needs to be stationary on one screen when using multiple monitors.

  14. When placing a new conference call from the computer it always uses the computer's microphone and speaker. It should utilize whatever calling method is chosen for the extension's settings (RingOut, RingOut to a specific device, etc.)... or it ought to at least give the option to choose the calling device on the "Conference Call" start screen. Not all of our employees have microphones/speakers on their computers, so starting the conference call using the computer as the endpoint is useless for them.

  15. Hi. I am looking for a way to essentially set up a "speakerphone button" (or control-key shortcut) when using RingCentral app on my desktop. Normally, I like to use the headset mic and earphones. But sometimes I'd like to use a "speakerphone" --- actually my Logitech webcam mic and the computer speakers.RingCentral remembers the different default audio mic/speaker source between phone and video. I'd like to have a way in phone settings to set default audio sourceA and default audio sourceB. I'd like to have a one-button toggle to switch between the headset mic/speakers and the Logitech mic/computer speakers while…

  16. It would be great to be able to turn off texting with an auto-response similar to when you text a landline, such that you need not have any text communications with clients.

  18. We use Teams to show different departments, and their availability to take calls. We would love "Teams" to have an option to default view to "show members" rather than share a file, create a task, or add an app. This would help reception and call transfer-ability.

  19. In our agency, some extensions are really tied to the program role, not the user. For example, our front desk staff. If a person who was in the role of our front desk support moved to a new job in the agency, they would not be keeping their extension number or direct dial number. It would best stay as a Front Desk line, as that has become known in the community as a front end contact point. Likewise, our Resource Room extension is always what it is no matter who that person would be. We needed to swap these 2…
