Pre Assign Participants to Breakout Rooms

I would like to request for the self-select option feature for breakout rooms with RingCentral Meetings to be added on the meetings settings.

This is a very important feature, which has been avaiable in Zoom for a while. It would be great to have this in RCM and RCW!

concern: is there a way for the RC Meetings breakout room to allow participants to self select their room?
same with the room feature on this link: https://blog.zoom.us/using-zoom-breakout-rooms/ -

This would be useful, especially when having larger groups of participants. Instead of long sections of downtime as the meeting host designates people to various meeting rooms, this would allow participants to choose instantaneously which room they would enter, rather than depending upon a single host to make these assignments. We had a group meeting yesterday where we had several rounds of breaking different participants into specific (rather than random) rooms...and it would have gone much more smoothly if participants were able to have made the choice on their own.

This a feature to the separate RC Meetings App. It should be part of the RC video feature in the RC desktop app

This is currently a Zoom feature, seems like it should be easy to add: allow participants in a Meeting to choose which breakout room they want to join. Even better would be to give them a Mingle option so they could move freely from room to room without having to have host/cohost controls.

In the new normal we can no longer have happy hours or group functions where a large group of people show up and self select to talk with a couple of people and then move on to a different conversation.Add a party feature with mingling. The UI probably shows existing groups and individuals that are not part of a group.Members of a group can set their group as private / do not disturb or allow others to join (presumably the default is allow others to join).Individuals can leave a group at any time.Individuals can approach one or more people and ask to join a group (like Slack group chat).Option and group member could assign a topic to the discussionWould be cool to use NLP to auto detect the current topic and dynamically change it over time.topics and groups would be shown in the "waiting room",, "Foyer" whatever you want to call it. that is where people would be until they join a group.I think this is an important new feature for the new normal as we have lost the hallway conversations that occur on a regular basis with our team. And even more so with online conferences vs in person conferences. For large conferences you would need to have a room of rooms concept -- this room is about topic A and people will break into small interactive groups around that topic.
