Automatically join the video Meeting when clicking meeting invite
Hello, This is more of a suggestion for future releases of RingCentral Video as the application is working as expected now. Video is frustrating a lot of our users and many have stopped using Video and switched to Teams. This is due to how RingCentral responds when clicking on the meeting link from email invites. The meeting webpage loads as expected and the browser is set to open the application by default. The application does join the meeting, yet the webpage changes the screen to join meeting. Many users join both on the webpage and the application and creates countless issues. RingCentral should follow what Teams, WebEx and others do. The browser knows the application loaded and does not prompt the user to join on the page.If this can be passed along and hopefully implemented that would be great to keep our users in RingCentral and not in Teams. Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks.

In our case, the invitee (prospective client) will most likely not have the RC app, nor want to install it. This would be a one-time call with the client.
Before sending the Outlook invite, Is there a URL edit that could be applied by the sender of the invite to modify the generated meeting URL link that would allow the client to to start a video conference via browser without offering to download the RC app?
