Please add join in browser functionality for participants of RingCentral Webinars
Our target audience ranges from men in their 20s to 80s; having the ability to join a Webinar by browser removes the hurdle of having to download and install the standalone Meetings app.

Thanks for all this great detail, John! We'll be sure to share this with our product team.

Good morning Becky. I’ve been able to collect some screenshots that detail our troubles with connecting to Webinar’s over a desktop browser.
When clicking the meeting information in an Outlook calendar instance, the desktop browser opens up to the meeting instance.
Since I don’t want to use RingCentral Meetings for this instance, I click Cancel and select Join from your browser[cid:image011.jpg@01D6B74A.CF1AEEC0]
I enter my name and click Join
[cid:image012.jpg@01D6B74A.CF1AEEC0]
I enter the meeting password from the invite and click Join.

We then receive the following error message.

John, it would be helpful if you could include some screenshots of what you're seeing so we can help to troubleshoot.

Thanks for reaching out Becky! That articles discusses meetings without prior registration or registration requirements at all. We are using registration in all of our Webinars. The Webinar entrance lists the Join by browser option but it does not allow us to connect (when registered), we are forced to use the Meetings app.

Hey, John! Thanks for reaching out. This feature does exist. I've shared a Knowledge Base article that will help: https://support.ringcentral.com/article/9373.htmlIf this does not address your issue, please comment with further details.
