There are instances when the meeting participant needs assistance in navigating and making it available would only increase the value and usage of RingCentral Video. Zoom has learned this is valuable in the age of work-from-home and added this to their Webinar offering.

I'm really frustrated by the loss of functionality in RCV, especially after being forced to upgrade from RingCentral Meetings. We often us RingCentral for tech support within our company. In RCM, I was able to take remote control to provide support, but that is not an option at this time in RingCentral Video. So, I tried to annotate the screen to show users which steps to take on - and that doesn't work in RCV either.Please prioritize bringing these two features back.

For internal team meetings, it would be beneficial for our Office Manager to provide assistance by being able to work on a team member's computer directly.

Allow users to give mouse and screen control when doing screen share meetings.

This helps in troubleshooting the technical issues. Sometimes non-technical users face technical issues ( e.g. broken website functionality on user's browsers only ) and it's hard for technical team to debug the issue. If technical team can get remote control , it's much easier to troubleshoot the issues.

Easier to set up computer settings on the other PC and training.

This was helpful and it was removed in the new version.

We had feature where we were able to give control to one of the participants or participant was able to request for control but now this new RingCentral either don't have that feature or I don't know where to find it. I will appreciate if you can guide or if it's not there, please consider adding that feature back because it's very important to me and I am sure to many other users

Give another person control of the mouse for walkthrough or training purposes while screen sharing.

We need to be able to control a desktop remotely.

We must have option to access other person system while meeting if in case we need to explain them something on their computer just like Zoom & Team viewer

From Zoom...The remote control feature allows you to take control of another participant's screen in a meeting. You can either request remote control of another participant's screen or the other participant can give control to you. Once given permission, you can control their mouse and keyboard, and even copy text from their screen to yours.

I work with students to edit their essays and this would be so helpful!

The new app lost Remote control feature. Even RC support hates that. This need to be added back ASAP.
