Floating Reactions Animation
When someone clicks a reaction, an animated version of the chosen emoji floats upwards from the left side of the screen. The animation of reactions allows participants to express themselves visually during a meeting using emojis. These floating reactions provide immediate feedback to speakers and add energy to the meeting. This feature enhances the remote communication experience! 😊👍🎉

I think this is now addressed by the animation they added recently. When I click the reactions, they are animated.
