Use Case / Business Need:

We need the ability to receive live video feeds directly during extension-to-extension calls initiated by 3rd-party SIP video door intercoms (e.g., Axis, DoorBird, CyberData, Grandstream).

Current Limitation:

Currently, when a visitor presses the intercom button, RingCentral only routes the audio call to our extensions or desk phones. To view video, staff must use a separate manufacturer app or browser window alongside the RingCentral audio call.

Requested Feature:

Enable native SIP video stream negotiation (e.g., H.264/RTSP over SIP) for extension-to-extension calls so that video intercoms can transmit live video directly to compatible desk phones or the RingCentral desktop/mobile app during an incoming intercom call.
