  1. Add Date & Time to body of an email meeting invite for RC Video

    We are looking to have the date and time automatically added to the body of an Outlook email invite for RingCentral Video. This seems to work with RingCentral Meetings, see attached image. We schedule meetings with the RingCentral app

  2. Audio optimization for group singing on RCV

    Request is for audio optimization to enable church worship teams and parishioners to sing, especially during the Covid period and for those who are singing or playing music whilst not being physically in the church building.

    The RCV chat window is not horizontally and vertically resizable. This makes it hard to see information.

  4. Meeting Start Countdown Timer

    With large meetings, it's rare they start right away and instead have a few minutes of buffer time before the meeting starts to allow people to funnel in. Currently, in order to achieve this, the host would have to share their screen to a YouTube video of a countdown timer.

  5. Anonymize RCV participants by host

    The request is for a host or participants to be able to anonymize their telephone number if dialing in from phone. For example, if the CEO joins the meeting from a home phone, we need to anonymize or hide that telephone number so that its not public facing.

  6. Allow the RC customer to customize the invitation template sent from RCV

    Customers wish to 1. exclude the "first_Last has invited you to a RCV meeting" blurb automatically2. embed tips and tricks for successfully joining the meeting3. ideally (phase two if too much) include this in their own style guide with company look and feel and logo branding

  7. Add timer for the presenter

    adding timer gives the presenter to know how many minutes is left and should have the ability to set and reset the timer . Currently it is not their in zoom or any video meeting . For RingCentral it will be great feature .

  8. Resize Picture in Picture Window

    The picture in picture window is too small and it is not useable for when others are sharing their screen.It would be helpful to have the ability to expand the size of the picture in picture window.This is helpful for multitasking.I do this with web-based meeting platforms such as Google meet where I can resize it and place it elsewhere, while I do other work.

  9. Display profile of meeting attendees

    I am in a customer facing role. In many of the meetings I attend, I find I spend a fair amount of time & mental focus trying to understand who the other people are in the meeting and why they are there. E.g., does person A report to person B? Is person C an RC Salesperson or the Partner? Why does person D keep steering the conversation towards topic X? Being able to access that context would allow me to focus much more on the conversation at hand instead of using my powers of inference & deduction to figure out…

  10. Virtual Backgrounds for RC Meetings

    RC uses Zoom which permits virtual backgrounds. RC Meetings should permit virtual backgrounds. There isn’t an option/preference/setting found to do that now.

  11. Default settings for Schedule with RingCentral O365 addon

    Currently the scheduler Outlook addon defaults to having a password. It would be great to allow for default settings to be set within the addon.

  12. Show when I am muted in my own gallery square

    Right now I can only see my mute status at the bottom of the RCV screen. It would be helpful to be able to see if I am muted within my own "square" in the gallery just like I can see everyone else's. When they are muted, it shows that in their gallery square but the same is not true for me. It would be more consistent and also helpful to show my mute status in my square also.

  14. RingCentral Video Allow participants to point with their mouse

    TeamViewer has a great feature, remote pointing, that allows participants to click on the presenter's screen and have the participant's mouse pointer temporarily appear at the desired location. The pointer is large and colored to be noticeable and also has the participant's name to identify who is pointing. The pointer is just visual and does not have the ability to click elements on the presenter's screen.   15. One-click option to uninstall RC Meetings and install RC Video

    Rather than the user having to follow a series of steps, create a one-click option to do the uninstall of RC Meetings and do the install of RC Video in one sweep.

    There are certain DOD customers that can only use products that are ITAR compliant. ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) is a United States regulatory regime to restrict and control the export of defense and military related technologies to safeguard U.S. national security and further U.S. foreign policy objectives.

  19. Add a soft edge (slight blur) to the Virtual Background edge so it doesn't feel as hard

    The request is for a more refined/cleaner virtual background. It would be great if there were a very light soft edge (slight blur) to the Virtual Background edge, so it does not feel quite as harsh.

  20. Add video meeting history to RC App

    The RingEX Application has Phone Call history but nothing for Meetings.
    There are 2 categories for Video Meetings - Upcoming Scheduled and Recordings.

    Since it's not always possible to attend every team meeting, it would be useful to provide users with a complete history of meetings that contain the following information:Meeting detailsText chat transcriptsClosed captioned transcript of speakersVideo & audio recording.
    It would also be useful to add this information to the Shelf if the meeting was associated with a messaging team.

    All options should have Admin control to enable/disable history and also provide retention time duration.
