An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment MedCare commentedYou are pushing everyone to the RingCentral App which does NOT have a custom fax coversheet. That would not be a problem if you had a HIPAA compliant built in coversheet but you DO NOT. RingCentral says they are HIPAA compliant however HIPAA requires a protected health information disclosure statement on EVERY Fax coversheet containing Protected Health Information. That means RingCentral is NOT HIPAA compliant. I have been using the RC Phone app with my own custom coversheet to make the RC HIPAA compliant but this app is being retired. You are selling a product stating it is compliant and probably misleading many other healthcare providers that they are following HIPAA protocols by using your product but that is not true unless RC makes a HIPAA complaint Fax Coversheet. I have requested this before but it needs to be handled ASAP. This should be a very easy fix, please create a HIPAA compliant Fax Coversheet as soon as possible so we can continue using your product.
An error occurred while saving the comment MedCare commentedI am not even sure if there email to fax system is HIPAA compliant...you should ask them because they told me not to use it when I switched to a HIPAA account!
How ridiculous is it that this idea has been circulating and requested for 3 years. It's been planned to be implemented for over a year. Honestly, this is something that you should already be offering since you claim to be HIPAA compliant. Technically if providers use your Ring Central App or RC email to fax, unless they manually add a "PHI Clause" to every fax, RC is not HIPAA compliant. Shame on you for such a large company.
