  2. Multiple users can receive a fax via email with/ attachment, but it will violate HIPAA, and they want multiple users to receive the fax through the RC App.

  5. We would like to request the ability to enable the Print to Fax feature within the RingCentral app without requiring an ATA device to be set up. Our goal is to allow RingCentral applications to send fax documents directly to designated printers so that they are printed immediately, bypassing the need for any ATA hardware.

  8. Print to fax directly from the browser or other application using RC App print to fax plug-in

    When using the old RC Phone App (Spartan) by printing directly from multiple browsers, the attachment will just add up (normal)

    When using the New RC App Glip (Jupiter) by printing directly from multiple browsers, the attachment will replace the previous attachment (not normal)
    In ther words, only 1 attachment is allowed at a time.

    Customer requested that if possible to mirror the functionality of RC Phone app print to fax plug-in

  9. We would like to request the ability to disable inbound faxing for a specific DID while still allowing outbound faxing from the same number.

    Currently, when faxing is enabled on a DID, both inbound and outbound fax capabilities are active. However, there are cases where users only require outbound fax functionality and would prefer not to receive inbound faxes on that number.

  10. Allow sending fax using G.711u.

    At the moment, RingCentral only supports T.38 for faxing.

    There are customers that are still using G.711u for faxing. We need to make sure that it works regardless of the transmission method.

  11. Currently, there is no reliable way to disable fax traffic for a phone number. If a number is assigned to a user extension and set to "Voice Only," any inbound fax attempts are treated as voice calls and will ring all active devices and apps associated with that extension.

    Ideally, there should be an option to fully disable fax functionality on a number. This would result in a failed transmission status for the sender, clearly indicating that the number is not enabled for fax.     For accounts where Single Sign-On (SSO) is enforced as the login method, there should be a way for Super Admins to access fax messages received by user extensions.

    Use Case / Justification:
    In situations where users are unable to attend to their faxes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., hospitalization, extended leave, or emergencies), Super Admins should have the ability to access these faxes without logging in as the user. This ensures business continuity and prevents important communications from being missed.

  13. Right now, the incoming call information settings on user extension is not working for faxes. It still shows the caller ID name. Customer would like to have the option of not displaying the caller ID name of the sender as the system sometimes has the outdated caller ID name for the sender's number.

  16. Currently, RC's HFS timer for outbound faxing, remote fax machine response time/timeout is 32 seconds. In the event a recipient fax machine takes longer than 32 seconds to respond with fax tones, our system will timeout/terminate the session. It will then retry twice, each with another 32 second timeout period, resulting in 96 (or more) seconds of "system resource usage" time.

    If we increased the HFS timeout to even just 40 seconds, allowing some additional time for remote fax machines to answer, we would have a higher success rate of outbound faxes and overall reduction of system resource usage time…
