Hi everyone, you are now able to customize the announcement played during the call. Learn where in the Admin portal to update here.
While not the ability to completely turn off the announcement, this customization allows for different companies to take into account their unique compliance needs. If a disclosure is not needed, a silent recording could be uploaded as a workaround.

The AI announcement is disruptive to callers.
I’ve had 2 clients who refused to continue the call because they felt uncomfortable being recorded. End result, I lost 2 potential clients over this. However, the AI take notes tools is amazing!! I wish you had an option to enable or disable the announcement and still keep the AI take notes feature. It saves a lot of time but I also don’t want to continue losing clients over this announcement. I hope this gets corrected sooner than later.Family supported this idea ·
Hi Jessica, any idea as to when we can get an update on this? I recently joined RingCentral and would like to continue, but need to know if there’s a resolution. Thank you!
