Autoprovision Yealink T54w Display Name
Ability for Yealink T54w to Display First and Last Name. We have Yealink T54W phones setup with auto provisioning. When they provision the phone display shows the users phone number instead of the first and last name of that user. The virtual AI said it should show the name and not the number so it seems like something is wrong. We would like it to show the name.
I am able to change the name from the phones UI, but if it reboots we lose that setting when it auto provisions again.
Thanks for any help with this.1 vote -

Shared external directory sync to Yealink phones as temporary substitute for Australian caller ID feature
In Australia, where standard Caller ID features are not implemented yet, we implement the shared external directory to identify phone numbers manually as a temporary fix. This feature works on the inbound and outbound calls via the Ringcentral apps but not on Yealink phones.
We need this feature to be implemented on all Ringcentral physical phone models without making changes on the phone’s internal settings.

Background Noise/Audio Issue Alert Sent to Super Admins
Admins don't always have time to listen to every single users' calls to determine if there were issues with background noise, poor audio quality, headset issues, etc. We would like the option to set up an alert that would notify a designated list of recipients if call quality falls below a certain threshold. It should include the details of the call, who the user is, and ideally what the problem of the call was (loud background noise, high jitter, etc).

Incoming call will reflect on the other desk phone
Would like to be able to see the incoming phone number on our desk phones for other phone lines. This will enable us to pick up that call if it is important from another phone.

Yealink T54 Hotdesk phone Attended transfer
We have a case where we have Yealink T54s set up as a hotdesk device.
Issue is - We have enabled the config via the phone, Transfer Mode via DSS key (Attended) instead of the default "Blind"
As the phone is set up as a hot desk, when another user logs out and hot-desks back in as another extension, the Yealink phone reverts the setting to blind transfer. It seems that the phone is being reprovisioned, which causes the issue.
We wanted to have a way or option to disable this on the provisioning settings for Yealink phones, or statically…

IP Phone Do Not Disturb And Ring Groups
Currently, if a member of a ring group puts themselves in DND via their physical desk phone (Poly VVX450), no other member of the ring group can recieve the call; the system sends back a busy signal causing the call to route to the next step (either VM or Forward). However, if the user puts themselves in DND via the Admin Portal, the ring group/call routing works as expected or desired.
A member of a ring group SHOULD be able to put themselves in DND (either by their physical phone or desktop/mobile app) without affecting other group members' ability to…

Improvement Proposal: Easier Call Blocking by Geographic Regions & International Calls
Currently, the “block number” option on the service web portal requires manual input of area codes, which becomes very tedious when trying to block hundreds of area codes. It would be highly beneficial if the block feature included a checkbox list for all 50 states, allowing users to easily enable or disable calls from entire states with a single click.
Additionally, it would be helpful to have an expandable option for each state that displays checkboxes for individual counties within that state. This would allow more granular control to allow or block inbound calls at the county level. Such enhancements…

Outbound Caller ID: Separate Queue numbers and IVR numbers
Under the Caller ID restrictions, the "Allow direct numbers as Caller ID" option currently enables end users to call out using both IVR numbers and queue numbers they are members of. However, callers should only have the option to use the queue number as their outbound Caller ID (OBCID) without access to all of the site's IVR numbers.
