  1. Desk phone/Teams integration

    We have a user who is wondering if it is possible to make a call via their desk phone, but to then have the actual call go not through the desk phone, but through Teams and use their PC speakers/mic. Can this be done, or is this not supported?

    Enable Remote Visibility of Locally Configured Call Forwarding on Physical Desk Phones

    📋 Current Behavior:
    Currently, call forwarding settings configured directly on desk phones (e.g., Poly Edge E320) are not visible in the RingCentral Admin Portal or app. These settings are stored locally on the phone and are not synced with the platform.

    ⚠️ Issue Description:
    Customers and administrators have no visibility into locally applied call forwarding settings on physical phones. This results in confusion and troubleshooting delays when call routing does not behave as expected, but no forwarding is seen in the user’s extension profile.

  14. We currently have the BT Cloud Work Corporate Address Book (LDAP) as the Main Address book when the users press the Dir button on the Yealink phones.
    However when an update (Synchronization) is pushed out by the Cloud Servers, it reverts back to the Local Directory rather than the Corporate Address Book.
    What would be great is for the option within the Cloud to make the Corporate Address book the default on the Yealink Phones, so that we don't have to keep going back into each phone to make this change, after a global update.

  18. Currently, Ringcentral doesnt have any support documentation for any Door Access device. We only have support documentation for Getting the SIP settings for manual provisioning
    https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Manual-Provisioning-How-get-SIP-Settings.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingEX&language=en_US but this doesnt include the configuring the feature to the Door Access devices

  19. Please let us be able to customize settings on our deskphones. Ideally, we could upload custom backgrounds to use for our customer-facing phones. We use Yealink T46U, T48U, T57W, and Mitel IP480s.

  20. Voice Mail Phone Notification (WMI) of desk phones is no longer available after loss of power or reboot. The backend only sends notifications to switch WMI on or off. It cannot detect if a phone has been rebooted, which might necessitate resending the WMI notification. Suggesting for WMI to stay even after loss of power.
