  3. We are a school district, we have dial in intercom system at each school. Currenly anyone can access them from any all areas. We need this to be changed so that only our internal extensions can access the intercoms and we don't want the Mitel phones to recieve calls from outside the account. This was working with Mitel before we migrate to RingCentral

  4. I have a bunch of Poly E550 phones I bought from Ring Central and I purchased the Poly Expansion module as well. Unfortnately, the expansion module doesn't really work because you can only add up to 48 total lines through Ring Central, although the module can include many more lines, up to like 100 or something much more. It is connecting just find with my E550 but because it's not on Ring Central as an expansion module option, it's not allowing me to use the full potential of the expansion module. Basically, the system is thinking I don't have it…

  5. I'm testing with the Mitel 480G enrolled in RingCentral.Found that I can start but can't end a call with the speakerphone button. I need to press the Line button.This functionality exists on the Polycom phones.

  7. Ring Central sends updates to my Yealink T57w phone. When the update comes in, it resets the admin password back to default. This is a secuirty issue and I get the red triangle error at top of phone screen until I manully change the password from ADMIN back to my password. It happens every update and is very frustrating. Security is low after an update as password defaults.

  8. Shared Lines BLA feature is available to RingCentral MVP Ultimate and Premium accounts only with compatible device such as VVX310, VVX410, VVX500, VVX300, VVX400, VVX600, VVX301,
    VVX311, VVX411, VVX501, VVX601, VVX 350, VVX 450. it would be better if we can also cater all compatible shared line device to have the BLA function. Call can be put on / taken off hold on any phone.

  13. Use case is activating or deactivating business hours/after-hours/custom rules using a button on a physical phone. Customer needs to route calls at a touch of a button to be able to provide better customer service to live patrons. This WILL be required for most Mitel customers that we want to move to RC.

  18. Ring Central documentation states that it supports Yealink T58W phones. Unable to provision phone from portal, had to log a support case. Also, unable to add expansion model "exp50" at all, even though you can on lower models in the portal.

  20. Prior to an account migration desk phones (such as Polycom VVX311, VVX411, VVX601) would only show the users name on the first 2 presence lines. Now, if no presence entries have already been manually added by the user, every line shows the users name.This is apparantly from the receiving account being on a newer version (v22) than the originating account (v21). This should be changed back to the user only showing on the first two lines.
