Control Business Hours, After Hours and/or Custom rules via hard phone
Use case is activating or deactivating business hours/after-hours/custom rules using a button on a physical phone. Customer needs to route calls at a touch of a button to be able to provide better customer service to live patrons. This WILL be required for most Mitel customers that we want to move to RC.

any screen user leaves unattended defaults to home J100's
automated home screen reverts back to default if user forgets to return when answering call, or other. Timer has a default and custom settings.

I'd like to add text to the paging screen? I'd like to add the paging extensions that can be pressed. Much easier that passing out phone cheat sheets that everyone loses. Using Mitel 6940 units

Autoprovision Yealink T58W phone & expansion module
Ring Central documentation states that it supports Yealink T58W phones. Unable to provision phone from portal, had to log a support case. Also, unable to add expansion model "exp50" at all, even though you can on lower models in the portal.

Presence on deskphones should only show user on first 2 lines, not every line
Prior to an account migration desk phones (such as Polycom VVX311, VVX411, VVX601) would only show the users name on the first 2 presence lines. Now, if no presence entries have already been manually added by the user, every line shows the users name.This is apparantly from the receiving account being on a newer version (v22) than the originating account (v21). This should be changed back to the user only showing on the first two lines.

Support for Mitel Key Template Layouts
Mitel 6930 IP - We received several 6930 when migrating from Mitel that we were told were 100% compatible with all Ring Central Features. We provisioned them using the MAC Address originally and had Key Template Layouts setup for these phones. As of today they no longer support Key Template Layouts and I was told they are not fully supported right now but will be. I say as of today as this is when users first brought it to my attention. Several phones still had the old settings this morning as well and were working (they grab the new settings…

Caller ID should match physical devices and apps
When calls are transferred, only the caller ID of the transferring party shows in the recent call list of the physical device of a user (Polycom vvx250) in this case. The computer and mobile apps show the calling party outside the organization. The physical device does show the caller ID (on first transfer only) during the active call. However, after call disconnect, the recent call log does not match the apps. It only shows the caller ID of the extension/user who transferred the external caller to the called user.

After Hours Recorded Message
We would like to play a recorded message for our after hours.We currently get a lot of sales calls out of hours and want to advise callers that no sales calls will be dealt with afterhours - only emergency site access calls will be dealt with.Can this feature be added.

Change default forwarding method to optional on Yealink phones
Currently, when using Yealink phones there are two completely different methods of transferring depending on whether you would like to warm or cold transfer. By adding the line:transfer.dsskeydealtype=4to the RingCentral Yealink provisioning server, phones will have an additional popup after trying to transfer a call asking if it will be direct or consult.

Ring Hardphone only option for Call Queue
Customer would like a toggle in the call queue that would only ring the agent's desk phone and not their apps for all calls to that queue.

Support for hotdesking on Mitel IP Phones
Right now, per https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Which-phones-support-Hot-Desking.html , Mitel phones are not supported as hotdesk / common area phones. Please add support.

Numerical tally of voicemails on Poly phones
Our users are used to seeing a numeric tally of the voicemails that they have on our old system being displayed on the phone. They are used to looking at the phone screen in the morning and seeing that they have a certain number of voicemails, which helps them plan their morning schedule. This is a very useful feature that they came to depend on with our old carrier. They would like to get this feature back.

Company Directory accessible on physical phones
This would benefit not only the company but the person administering the phones. On a Cisco phone (88XX) there currently are two address books, a system address book which is not functional and a personal address book which is unique to each phone. In order to have a "company" list, we currently have to utilize the personal address book and manually enter each entry into each phone. If anything changes(additions, changes, deletions), we have to manually change it in each phone. This can be very time-consuming to manage but at present is the only way to get a company directory…
