On our previous phone system we had the ability to start typing an extension on the physical phone and it would begin the lookup of the corporate directory without having to go into a search feature. It would be nice to be able to start entering an extension and it begin to populate users with that extension sequence

  2. We would like to have a general voicemail box that would allow us in the app in to view new voicemails from multiple users. The email gets convoluted due to the amount of emails received. It would be nice to go to the app and have the voicemails showing and being able to click on them for a user to check mark that they have taken care of it.

  3. I should see on my end that the call is coming from another extension if that extension missed the call. For example :It will ring to ext 1 deskphone if she missed the call the call will be transferred to me but I should see that the call is coming from ext 1.

  6. We would like to have the dial-by-name restricted to the the site that the users are assigned to. Currently, when the site other than the "Main Site" is dialed and the dial-by-name option is selected, the all of the users are searched instead of the current site.

  7. Our law firm has been inundated with spoofing-type calls. It interrupts our business day, fills our voicemail box, and is simply frustrating. A call trap option could help reduce these calls. Please develop an option for use with our Ring Central service.

  8. I am talking about being able to block calls that have no real caller ID or are noted as “Unknown “ As far as robo calls. There should be an option to block them with out ringing throughSince I with to your company a numbe of years ago the amount of spam calls I have to deal with have increase by factor of 10 or 20 time.. Almost like you sold my info

  11. Would be beneficial for queues to have ability to have distinctive ring. That way, if someone is member of multiple queues they can hear ring and discern which group that calling is coming in through. I know we can show queue name, however we have had requested audible ring identifier as well.

  14. You know how everyone business getting hit with spam likely? One way to avoid this is to get your prospect to add your contact to their phone. You can do this via SMS by sending a contact card. You can send them to android but not to iphone. We need this fixed ASAP!

  15. Users should be able to search Area code from the "My caller ID" section. User has to scroll through a number of area codes, it would be a lot easier if users can search area codes and a list of numbers attached to the area code is displayed.

Add an option to either announce the caller's (phone number / Contact Name / Both / Neither ) when listening to voicemails.This would be useful if the user does not see the caller's information on screen (app, web, desk phone, etc) This would benefit users who listen to voicemailsThis feature could be added in voicemail setup per user/extension/call queue in the same place where Greeting settings are locatedOr it could be grouped with other settings related to "Listening/accessing voicemails"

  17. For international calling, it would be beneficial for customers to be notified when a country has been blocked by RC on our account. Although in the international calling rates section in the admin portal all the countries are enabled, RC monitors and blocks some countries. We practice international law and our attorneys call various countries. We would not know which countries have been blocked until attempting to call, which you then need to submit a whitelisting form which can take 24-48 hours to process. Being notified or having access to view a list of which countries are blocked will help…

  20. Previously on Mitel, customer was able to sync contacts from phone and Microsoft Outlook. Please add this feature to RingCentral.
