  1. RC should allow for assigning multiple lines to one phone. If there is one assistant, and they are working for multiple people, the assistant should be able to tell what calls were missed by what person. This is currently not possible. This feature would lead to a great improvement in business environments where the secretary needs to monitor multiple lines. Currently we can only forward lines from the bosses to the secretary, but this doesn't solve the issue. Neither does the Presence feature.

I suggest that you enable call logs to be retrieved indefinitely into the past as I believe many users are like us - businesses who don't usually need to retrieve call logs except under unusual circumstances (like in our case, an IRS audit!).I need our call logs for January - December 2020 in order to respond to an IRS audit. We have never needed to retrieve our call logs in the past so we did not set up Archiver, and I was not aware of the time limitation on call log retrieval. I contacted Support by phone and chat and…

Would like a basic Hunt Group where members can answer multiple calls, and the overflow could be an IVR, another EXT, etc Example: Company has a team member - EXT 100 - who is responsible for answering calls, but also needs to be reachable out of an IVR. HG would be created where EXT 100 is the only member and they can answer multiple calls, and juggle inbound traffic. Overflow option to IVR, where it would play a Day Greeting for unanswered calls.   6. It would be nice to have a button to send a message to a number that leaves a voicemail, unless it's a landline. Then instead of having to copy and paste the number, go to the text portal, start a new conversion, and paste the number, it's one button that lets you initiate a text thread with that number.

  7. today if a user private parks a call, it just flashes on the phones with no tone. A tone would better help the user to know a call is waiting

  8. Transcribing voicemails into texts is awesome. It would be easy to also be able to transcribe calls - possibly having the option to at least do so on demand, if not just automatically for every recorded call. It would be very easy to pin down a certain section of the call if needed.

  9. We have several departments that need to update their IVR Greetings regularly, and having them have to record the greeting then submit a case is time consuming. It would be beneficial if the IVR Menus would have a PIN that the appropriate users can log into the IVR extension to update the greeting.

  10. Currently, RingCentral does not allow users to access free conference call lines through their phones or through the RingCentral mobile app. This is a suggestion to grant users the ability to host conference calls using RingCentral devices.

When a receptionist or executive assistant for example assembles a group of people in a conference call, once everyone is on the call, if the organizer then leaves the call, the entire conference call ends and everyone is disconnected. We need a way for an organizer to create a call, add a bunch of people to it, then slip out the back door without ending the call they created.

  13. As a remote user, I would like to be able to use my home computer. I am running into a message on the Ring Central Phone app that tells me that I have exceeded the number of instances. It would be good to increase the number of softphones that a user can have.

  15. Do to Medicare regulations we have to say certain things on every sales call. I would like to have a message played after 45 seconds, so people don't hang up when the message is played before I introduce my self.

  16. Make it possible, on a person by person basis, to DISABLE sending e-mail notifications to people that are Co-Recipients to an extension. Without this, the only way a person can stop notifications from the shared extension is for them to disable notifications on their own account. But if they do that, they also lose all e-mail notifications for their own extension. Scenario:Message-Only box (ext 3001)Notifications (e-mail) is Enabled for the extension. Please add an option to forward calls in Ring Central Phone based on a monthly calendar view. ...so at a glance of a calendar month you can see which member calls will be forwarded to, and easily change it when needed. For example, see in attached how we have 3 different members (Andres, Dan & Paul) on call throughout the month of July? Please add an option to make forwarding rules based on that. Many thanks!!

  20. It would be useful if from our management system we could click on a customer's phone number, it would go to the Ring Central dial pad and then send it our hard phone to make outgoing calls.
