  3. RC should allow for assigning multiple lines to one phone. If there is one assistant, and they are working for multiple people, the assistant should be able to tell what calls were missed by what person. This is currently not possible. This feature would lead to a great improvement in business environments where the secretary needs to monitor multiple lines. Currently we can only forward lines from the bosses to the secretary, but this doesn't solve the issue. Neither does the Presence feature.

I suggest that you enable call logs to be retrieved indefinitely into the past as I believe many users are like us - businesses who don't usually need to retrieve call logs except under unusual circumstances (like in our case, an IRS audit!).I need our call logs for January - December 2020 in order to respond to an IRS audit. Would like a basic Hunt Group where members can answer multiple calls, and the overflow could be an IVR, another EXT, etc Example: Company has a team member - EXT 100 - who is responsible for answering calls, but also needs to be reachable out of an IVR. HG would be created where EXT 100 is the only member and they can answer multiple calls, and juggle inbound traffic. Overflow option to IVR, where it would play a Day Greeting for unanswered calls.   8. It would be nice to have a button to send a message to a number that leaves a voicemail, unless it's a landline. Then instead of having to copy and paste the number, go to the text portal, start a new conversion, and paste the number, it's one button that lets you initiate a text thread with that number.

  10. We have several departments that need to update their IVR Greetings regularly, and having them have to record the greeting then submit a case is time consuming. It would be beneficial if the IVR Menus would have a PIN that the appropriate users can log into the IVR extension to update the greeting.

  11. Currently, RingCentral does not allow users to access free conference call lines through their phones or through the RingCentral mobile app. This is a suggestion to grant users the ability to host conference calls using RingCentral devices.

When a receptionist or executive assistant for example assembles a group of people in a conference call, once everyone is on the call, if the organizer then leaves the call, the entire conference call ends and everyone is disconnected. We need a way for an organizer to create a call, add a bunch of people to it, then slip out the back door without ending the call they created.

  14. As a remote user, I would like to be able to use my home computer. I am running into a message on the Ring Central Phone app that tells me that I have exceeded the number of instances. It would be good to increase the number of softphones that a user can have.

  15. We have had the Ring Central Phone Service for approximately 8 years. In those 8 years, we have NEVER had to dial our home area code. For example, my office is based in the 916 area code, when dialing a 916 phone number, we just dialed the 7 digit number and it went through. As of today, 5/17/2022, we now have to dial the area code, even when calling a 916 phone number. Why did this all of the sudden happen? How do we get it back to just dialing the 7 digit number when dialing in area code?

  18. Make it possible, on a person by person basis, to DISABLE sending e-mail notifications to people that are Co-Recipients to an extension. Without this, the only way a person can stop notifications from the shared extension is for them to disable notifications on their own account. But if they do that, they also lose all e-mail notifications for their own extension. Scenario:Message-Only box (ext 3001)Notifications (e-mail) is Enabled for the extension.
