  1. When an incoming call appears on the screen of my Yealink phone, the caller's # is just one long string (i.e., 1234567890 vs 123-456-7890), which makes it particularly cumbersome (to me anyway) to try and copy it down.

  2. Highlight and Hotkey to dial in MVP App, versus having to use the CALLTO parameter in Windows. Too many people don't format numbers for dialing, or use Excel based call lists.Works in RC Phone App, why not MVP

  4. External caller transferred to an extension that would just ring a pager and hang up.We have a phone line displayed outside of our shop that a truck driver can call from their cell phone. The idea would be that the driver enters an IVR menu and is promted to press 1 (helps avoid spam too.) After pressing 1 a loud speaker such as the Algo 8180 inside the shop will ring once or play 1 audio file and the caller would then be sent to a message and the call is then disconnected.Sometimes our shop is noisy and the regular…

  5. Cyber threats are at an all time high in 2021 and it is important to protect our accounts properly. Most breaches come from email attacks so it makes no sense why Ring Central does not support MFA through apps like Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Duo, or Yubikey. Like text messaging MFA is outdated and insecure, emails will get to the same point. It is important that our accounts are secure and MFA through the apps is one the most basic ways.

  7. If you program park keys as a presence key there is no park hold recall timer. Ring Central only offers park hold recall for global park keys and not for the presence park keys.

  8. I am a full-access manager for 3 call queues that are set up with their own direct lines. I do not know how to respond to these text messages. I read online at this article (https://community.ringcentral.com/questions/89895/call-queue-texting.html) that you can log into a call queue, but this seems cumbersome. I wish to have the ability to text from the direct line of the call queues that I am a full access manager for. Thank you.

  9. There is no available German spelling checker on the RingCentral Phone App. The only ones availalbe are EN (UK), EN (U.S.), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), French (EU), French (Canada) and Portuguese (Brazil).

  10. This would be great when trying to join a call that uses a pin/number password to enter. For instance, you dial a number, and in the options afterwards, you have to enter a pin. On your mobile phone you can enter something like 111-111-1111,,,1234. Apparently, RC does not have this feature. Please add it.Thank you

  11. Currently if a customer calls a direct line it will only display their phone number and not their name with it. I feel like its a step back to not be able to display the callers name. I know not all phone providers show someone's name when they call but with our old system when I would call my direct line it would show my full name, now with this new system only my cellphone number is displayed.

  12. Make it so when you go invisible, DND is enabled as well so you do not get calls. We have receptionist that sometimes leave during office hours and the DND status makes it look like they are in the office still when they are not.

  14. We have 14 ring Central numbers and when we added one a year ago the assumption was that it would have all the same features as the ones already existing numbers for our company. Come to find out the number did not have texting as an option because of where that number is being sourced from. Now our only option is to get a new number. This is not an easy solution for us as the existing number is tied to patients, pharmacies, insurers, other DR.s etc. so changing the number is not a solution. My suggestion is that when…

  15. When using the dark theme in the RC phone app, links in some text messages are hard to read in the standard blue/purple link color. Having the ability to change the color to something that is easier for the user to read would be nice.

  17. So whenever someone calls, if that phone numbers call history (or text history) would appear whenever they call. So if they call today and again tomorrow we'd know what contact had been made, who had talked to them, or texted them, etc

  18. We are running the following scenario, What should our company do if there is a bomb threat that gets called in to us? At a previous job I had there was a number we could dial immediately after the call to save/flag that call. I request RingCentral to add such a capability so that in the event that such an event happens users can dial a number (pref a #hash number) that way the call can be saved for police to follow up with in an investigation into such a call.

  19. We run a suicide prevention line and sometimes need to call 999. To support a volunteer to make a 999 call we need to us the 80/81 live monitoring to support them though the call.Please could you enable this?Thanks

  20. Our phones are setup so that all calls forward to a specific extension (e.g. user 1) and then a ring group simultaneously rings all other extensions. If user 1 picks up the call and wants to give the call to a different extension, the call can be placed on hold and any other extension with presence enabled can pick up the call (no transfer needed).
