  1. Currently RCV allows sharing of full screen or a given app. However, when user has a high resolution monitor (eg 4k/8k), sharing fullscreen means the viewers may not be able to see the screen clearly as it's downscaled to say a FHD display. On the other hand, sharing only 1 app at a time means user has to unshare and share diff apps if their requirement needs multiple apps to be displayed.

Enabling part of the screen share mitigates this by
    1. Sharing a FHD sized part of screen so that users with all sort of screen sizes are accommodated …

  2. Allow chats in an RCV meeting only between Moderator and Participants. Restrict chats participants-to-participant. Schools, for example, do not want students chatting privately during virtual learning. We need chat to be enabled to allow between Teacher-Student (public and private).

  3. I have a customer that would like the ability to give/revoke permission to whiteboard to participants during a meeting. To minimize distractions when necessary, and then turn it on to collaborate.

  6. Creating a Teams meeting is pretty much the same thing as creating a Ring Central meeting. It creates a link users can click on to join the meeting, from the browser or the app. When you link your Exchange account to your Ring Central account, you have access to all your future meeting, even if they are not Ring Central meetings. That means users can also see their upcoming Teams meetings. Pressing on the link in the video tab should redirect to the Teams meeting, either into the user’s default browser or the Teams app if they have it. That’s…

  7. We would like the ability to add music that all can hear during a team meeting on RC MVP desktop app. We'd like to be able to share a live music stream from YouTube or Spotify or similar services or the ability to play and share music files for all to hear directly from the PC. Without having to share screen and share computer audio.

  8. The love reaction (a red heart) would be a great addition to RC Video reaction options. MS Teams has this offering.

  9. If a meeting is setup in 2 weeks from now, the meeting does not show up under the upcoming meetings tab. It would be helpful to show all upcoming meetings. Or, at a minimum show a certain number of meeting scheduled regardless of date in the future

  10. We don't have absolute timestamp (with user timezon or UTC) in video recording neither at interface nor as caption. But that's very helpful sometimes to have not only relative time when we're trying compare timeline with messaging or other events.

  12. more options to edit and touch up one’s apperance would be so helpful and is really the only option you guys lack from the competition. A lot of times I have to miss groups to go fix my face with either make up or just miss the whole meeting . I have heard others say the same thing that apperance on video is so unforgiving they go to other providers when possible . So hopefully this is could be a priority and gets better.?.?….. I don’t know , but I do know you guys would benefit greatly because of the…

  14. I would like to be able to hide the floating screenshare controls bar while in a video meeting. At this point in time, there is no way to hide it and it is disruptive when visible during a meeting. We also have a hard time simply trying to move it out of the way, because it snaps back into place. It obstructs the meeting "view" for the hosts.

  16. Users would like to be able to reply to the last 10-15 seconds (or go back further) during a live recorded meeting so that they can quickly recall something that was said, shown, or discussed. Similar to how people use streaming services today, users would like a timeline bar on the bottom of the screen for live meetings that they can use to quickly rewind a live meeting to go back and hear/see something from earlier in the meeting. While reviewing the meeting history, the reviewer should be allowed to select different playback speeds so that they have the option…

  17. Add a feature where the Participant box or another pop-up window to completely remove when sharing screen on RCV. Instead, merge it with the same window so that the Participants will appear at the top of the screen of your Video Meeting like the one that is showing from the Participant's side.

  18. Subject: Feature Suggestion: Integration of Apple's Center Stage for Enhanced Video Engagement

    Dear RingCentral Team,

I hope this message finds you well. As a dedicated user of RingCentral, I've been consistently impressed by the platform's commitment to delivering cutting-edge features that enhance our communication experience. Today, I'd like to propose the integration of Apple's Center Stage technology into RingCentral's video conferencing services.

Center Stage uses the ultra-wide camera on Apple devices to automatically keep users perfectly framed during video calls. This technology makes video interactions more dynamic and engaging by adjusting the frame as the user moves. Such a feature…

  20. BlueJeans had this incredibly useful function where you could upload a video file, typically .mp4 format and then play that video for all participants on demand. This allowed for smooth presentations of video clips in a video call. Additionally it would be REALLY nice if you could pre-buffer a Youtube or similar clip so it would play smoothly to the participants on a call.
