  1. Adapt the ringcentral scheduler into the new Outlook Instead of it being a seperate addon app.

Using the ringcentral scheduler, it just populates the information, but no signature.

There should be an easy way to add the signature on the new outlook using the RingCentral scheduler

  3. Users would like to be able to reply to the last 10-15 seconds (or go back further) during a live recorded meeting so that they can quickly recall something that was said, shown, or discussed. Similar to how people use streaming services today, users would like a timeline bar on the bottom of the screen for live meetings that they can use to quickly rewind a live meeting to go back and hear/see something from earlier in the meeting. While reviewing the meeting history, the reviewer should be allowed to select different playback speeds so that they have the option…

  4. When multiple people raise their hands, the hands should be numbered by the order in which people raised their hands. This allows a presenter to answer questions in the order in which people raise their hands.

  5. Some competitors have a feature where they can hide or change the name of the host of the meeting.
    The use case is:
    1. Customer is in healthcare and offers telehealth services.
    2. The host of the meeting wants to protect their own privacy by hiding their full name to customer/patient. They would like to show just first name or similar.
This is naturally not an issue for internal meetings.

  6. If a user is typing while in a meeting, sometimes the spacebar triggers the microphone to unmute unintentionally. We should have an option to disable that feature in the RCV settings. It doesn't need to be completely removed as it is a convenient feature, but it can be troublesome when in meetings as a listening party only.

  7. Would like to add the feature to add a co-host on RingCentral Video when scheduling a meeting. This is when I am on a vacation and has a scheduled recurring meeting. I do not want to stay on meeting first before assigning someone as host moderator.

Thanks for the continued feedback on this one.

To clarify how RingCentral Video works today: if the meeting host hasn't joined, the first participant from your account to join is automatically given host/moderator controls — so a scheduled or recurring meeting can start and run even when the original host is out.

We also hear the specific request here: the ability to designate a named co-host or alternate host when scheduling, so a chosen colleague reliably holds those controls regardless of join order — and so dependent actions like automatic recording or breakout room management work as expected. That capability isn't available in RCV today.

This remains on our backlog. It isn't on the near-term roadmap yet, but the interest here is heard and we'll update this thread as our plans develop.

  8. When a user starts a video call or RCV meeting a loud ringing tone is heard. Most users find the volume too loud and then reduce the volume on their audio device. Then when the meeting starts the audio is too soft and they have to increase the volume. The suggestion is to reduce the ringing tone vole by 50% and then to increase the meeting volume by 25%.

  9. The request is to be able to limit what certain users have access to. Specifically, in customer facing industries such as banking or stock trading. One thing a typical user would need to be limited from doing would be recording or not sharing the application. Others, such as those in management, can record meetings and share applications.

  10. With video content creation, podcasts and multi-media videos being more important it would be a huge time saver to export recorded videos directly to Descript. This is the biggest podcast editing app. And they have direct integration with other platforms. Why not allow RC recorded videos become more utilized versus Zoom which is the defacto standard for tons of podcasters and companies.

  11. Currently the Ring Central platform shows cell phone number as two separate users. In other planforms there is a way to "Hide Non-Video Participants". I suggest that Ring Central add a way to hide the cell phone numbers of those who enter a video call using their cell.

  13. This helps let us (team of 5 here in our small business office!) know and is a good reminder if we get busy - that someone is ready for our meeting! We used to get an email reminder when someone joins our personal meeting room if we weren't in there. As of today, that no longer happens because, according to the chat rep, our account has been changed to the new version and that's not a feature. It is a lifesaver! We need that back if possible!

  15. Automatically share recording with all participants invited, instead of having to manually go to the recording page then share. We have daily meetings that are recorded, not all employees can attend. Would like to have it automatically shared with all participants. I have set up a forward on the email, to send to the participants once the vidoe is avalialbe, but still have to manually add them. Need this to be automatic.

Sharing a recording with participants — including people outside your organization — is available today via Share Meeting Materials, and hosts can enable it with a single tap. Fully automatic distribution to every invitee without a manual step is under review, and we'll update this thread as it progresses. Feel free to share your feedback and needs here in this thread. See Viewing and managing meeting recordings.

  18. My organization wants to be able to identify cell meeting call-ins more quickly by name (not manually changing their name). All of our call-in people are RingCentral users, so the feature I am requesting would be for RingCentral to check the cellphone number of someone calling in, and if that number has been added to a RC profile, display the name of the person.Alternatively, if this is too complicated a feature, the ability to go into guest user phone numbers and manually set display names in RC so that when those numbers do call into meetings their name shows would be…
