  1. Users would like to be able to reply to the last 10-15 seconds (or go back further) during a live recorded meeting so that they can quickly recall something that was said, shown, or discussed. Similar to how people use streaming services today, users would like a timeline bar on the bottom of the screen for live meetings that they can use to quickly rewind a live meeting to go back and hear/see something from earlier in the meeting. While reviewing the meeting history, the reviewer should be allowed to select different playback speeds so that they have the option…

  2. When multiple people raise their hands, the hands should be numbered by the order in which people raised their hands. This allows a presenter to answer questions in the order in which people raise their hands.

  3. Some competitors have a feature where they can hide or change the name of the host of the meeting.
    The use case is:
    1. Customer is in healthcare and offers telehealth services.
    2. The host of the meeting wants to protect their own privacy by hiding their full name to customer/patient. They would like to show just first name or similar.
This is naturally not an issue for internal meetings.

  4. Would like to add the feature to add a co-host on RingCentral Video when scheduling a meeting. This is when I am on a vacation and has a scheduled recurring meeting. I do not want to stay on meeting first before assigning someone as host moderator.

  5. The ability to pause your screen share is extremely helpful. For instance, while your client is asking a question, you pause the share to locate the information in order to answer their question. This was something you were always able to do using RingCentral Meetings, but has been discontinued under RingCentral Video. This feature also sets you apart from most other web conference platforms.

  6. The request is to be able to limit what certain users have access to. Specifically, in customer facing industries such as banking or stock trading. One thing a typical user would need to be limited from doing would be recording or not sharing the application. Others, such as those in management, can record meetings and share applications.

  7. With video content creation, podcasts and multi-media videos being more important it would be a huge time saver to export recorded videos directly to Descript. This is the biggest podcast editing app. And they have direct integration with other platforms. Why not allow RC recorded videos become more utilized versus Zoom which is the defacto standard for tons of podcasters and companies.

  9. This helps let us (team of 5 here in our small business office!) know and is a good reminder if we get busy - that someone is ready for our meeting! We used to get an email reminder when someone joins our personal meeting room if we weren't in there. As of today, that no longer happens because, according to the chat rep, our account has been changed to the new version and that's not a feature. It is a lifesaver! We need that back if possible!

  10. Sometimes we want to add another user in the ongoing call. A feature to enter the user name (RC id) and directly add that person can be very helpful.

  12. Since our account was moved over to RCV (even though we requested it NOT) it appears as though we cannot access the RCM reports function at all.

  13. My organization wants to be able to identify cell meeting call-ins more quickly by name (not manually changing their name). All of our call-in people are RingCentral users, so the feature I am requesting would be for RingCentral to check the cellphone number of someone calling in, and if that number has been added to a RC profile, display the name of the person.Alternatively, if this is too complicated a feature, the ability to go into guest user phone numbers and manually set display names in RC so that when those numbers do call into meetings their name shows would be…

  14. The request is, for RCV meetings and audio conference calls, to have an audio prompt that states the customer name instead of RingCentral, as this may cause confusion to those joining.

  15. Current video streams uses a lot of bandwidth, which may overwhelm customer networks and ISP/private/wireless network links. Using AI-based video encoding could reduce video bandwidth.
