    I am in tech support and have a client who messaged me the following question "We are switching all of our meetings over from Ring Central to Teams. Do you know if there is an easy way to do this so that we don’t have to delete all existing meetings?"

  6. Exclude Guests from MS Teams Company Contact Sync

    Guest accounts (B2B Collabaration Users) in Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) should not sync along with regular contacts (Members) when using the MS Teams embedded dialer app. At a minimum, there should be an option to include or exclude Members/Guests when syncing Contacts.Many organizations use B2B Collaboration to provide single sign-on to their customers which causes large numbers of user records and it is not normal behavior for apps to sync these records by default when syncing contact records.   7. Personalize User Status in RingCentral for Microsoft Teams

    It would be a great idea if we could personalize the user status when on a call using RingCentral for Microsoft Teams. At the moment when the user is on a call, it is showing "Busy" and it would be great if we could change it to "On a Call"

  8. RC App Chat within MS Teams Embedded Dialer

    Within the MS Teams RC Embedded Dialer app 2.0 can the RC App Chat be added? I use Teams and RCA to talk to both sets of customers and it would be great to work within one app and not both. So I can have all my RCA chats and groups with customers and RC staff as well as my Teams chats.

  9. Teams integration is great but does not stand alone on its own

    The only thing we found was the Teams integration is great but does not stand alone on its own. For us and they way we work, if the RC app has to be installed along with the plug in to work with Teams, it almost is not needed since the RC app has to be there anyways, we feel it would just be more beneficial to just use the RC app on its own.If there is a way for it to stand alone on the Teams RC app on its own, we would be more wanting to use it

  12. MS Teams RingCentral Cloud PBX Outage Status

    I'm sure several companies must now have Microsoft Teams integration via RingCentral Cloud PBX, but there's no Service Status for if there are any outages or failures going on. This would help us determine if there's a global outage so that we submit tickets accordingly

  16. Incoming Call / Notification in MS Teams

    While testing inbound calls into my RingCentral extension, I noticed that I do not get notifications on my cell phone's MS Teams with the RingCentral embedded app. If I log in to the RingCentral mobile app, I do get notified but only on the RingCentral mobile app.

    RingCentral for MS Teams 2.0 Embedded Dialer: limit RingCentral communication to RingCentral users.(ware malcomb UID:63084070023)During a recent MS Teams Embedded dialer POC, it seems RingCentral communication was sent to non RingCentral users via MS Teams. (see attached image 1)
    per prospect: "Our users continue to get unwanted alerts from RingCentral that some are reporting as phishing or scams. Perhaps it’s time for us to create a group to control the communication?"

  18. Video Calls/Meeting for Microsoft Teams Integration

    In really like the current integration with Teams and how it integrates with scheduling perfectly, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that you can't make a video call, only audio. Teams call quality is generally pretty bad and I was hoping to utilize the power of RingCentral.Also I think this would be a big selling point for you guys, if video meetings were possible through the Teams app, this would eliminate the need to have Zoom for this kind of use case.
