  1. The ability to add an alternate host in the RingCentral Outlook 365 add-on. I can select an alternate host in the desktop app but not the Outlook 365 add-on. When scheduling meetings for my CEO, he sometimes has to leave his 1st group RingCentral call to join a different RingCentral call. When he joins the 2nd call, he disconnects the attendees in the first call because an alternate host can't be select for the first group call.   2. RedTail integration should not be limited by the web browser. Currently, RingCentral can only integrate using Google's Chrome browser. This is unacceptable and non-standard for the financial services industry (which widely uses RedTail). In fact, we have come across no other tech that requires a specific browser to integrate with RedTail. Please update.

  4. In the RingCentral system, when a user's location has been detected to have changed the RingCentral system prompts said user to update their emergency location. What we would like to be able to do is receive a web-hook event when this happens instead, which then allows our 3rd party service to request and receive a much more in-depth emergency location from the user, which we can then pass back to RingCentral for the call routing. It would be useful if you give the option to activate the text tool when the line is being activated, so the user who wants to use this tool can use it as soon as the line is activated, and thus avoid the user having to contact support to activate this function, as sometimes the cases cannot be easily opened to contact support because the page does not work and when trying to call sometimes there are no agents available, personally, I contacted support many times to get activated the text function and sometimes that takes days, and it's time…

  7. Our previous PBX allowed tiered ring groups for call queues to help with overflow and temporary unavailability. Primary members could be added to any or all tiers for continuous ringing at their extensions. The intent is to have primary members answer all calls at all tiers along with not disturbing secondary members with the initial ringing.

  8. The URL should be easily shareable and lead to an interactive calendar that shows our availability based on our google/outlook calendar sync. They should be able to select open dates and times as well as input a reason or topic for the meeting.

Common theme seems to be that our Partners hope that we are quicker to support this VDI environment compared to our previous experience with Citrix and VMWare.

  12. As a RingCentral customer I would like to see the development team look to offer infrastructure as code support for RingCentral, such as Terraform or Ansible. Allowing customers to automate the provision and ongoing management of resoruces in RingCentral accounts.As a customer with over 230 sites each with multiple users, IVRs, Queues and devices, being able to manage this as code provides both consistency and an ability to scale.Although the APIs are useful, our engineers prefer to work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as it is a lot easier.   14. Customers would like to be able to forward calls to a soft-phone or WebRTC device. Technically one can already forward calls to a device ID corresponding to desk (physical) phone because their device IDs are static. WebRTC device IDs are dynamic and volatile. Our system could route calls to them, but there is no way to obtain a list of Device IDs associated with a user. I want to be able to call ONE RC number and yoru system decides what company the call would be transferred to based on rules and parameters I set within Company 1 and Company 2.
