  1. Exclude Guests from MS Teams Company Contact Sync

    Guest accounts (B2B Collabaration Users) in Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) should not sync along with regular contacts (Members) when using the MS Teams embedded dialer app. At a minimum, there should be an option to include or exclude Members/Guests when syncing Contacts.Many organizations use B2B Collaboration to provide single sign-on to their customers which causes large numbers of user records and it is not normal behavior for apps to sync these records by default when syncing contact records.   5. use RingCentral to call in to a MS Teams presentation

    include a phone number on my MS Teams meetings to allow users who do not have robust audio capabilities on their computers, to call in to a presentation such that all participants can hear the caller(s) when they speak and the caller can hear people talking via MS Teams. I see articles about internal use of RingCentral with Teams, but nothing regarding what I am describing. Zoon offers a phone number on their meetings so users can call in

    It would be a great idea if we could personalize the user status when on a call using RingCentral for Microsoft Teams. At the moment when the user is on a call, it is showing "Busy" and it would be great if we could change it to "On a Call"

  8. Full plugin capabilities of RingCentral Teams' embedded dialer app inside of the VDI (Azure VDI) session.

    RingCentral dialing features are not available to the users from within TEAMS and will not move past the SIGN IN display
    Software Engineer from MS Teams confirmed that the plugin does not support multiple sessions or the full functionality is not yet supported in VDI

  12. Choose default Tab in Teams 2.0 Integration

    I'm using the Beta Teams 2.0 integration. For the most part I think it's great, however whenever you click into the RingCentral area it always loads one the Phone tab which shows calls history and the dialler. For us that's not much use and everyone here would much prefer the HUD tab to be the default. If in the Settings area you could select your preferred default tab, that would be much better.

  13. RC App Chat within MS Teams Embedded Dialer

    Within the MS Teams RC Embedded Dialer app 2.0 can the RC App Chat be added? I use Teams and RCA to talk to both sets of customers and it would be great to work within one app and not both. So I can have all my RCA chats and groups with customers and RC staff as well as my Teams chats.

  16. MS Teams RingCentral Cloud PBX Outage Status

    I'm sure several companies must now have Microsoft Teams integration via RingCentral Cloud PBX, but there's no Service Status for if there are any outages or failures going on. This would help us determine if there's a global outage so that we submit tickets accordingly

    I am in tech support and have a client who messaged me the following question "We are switching all of our meetings over from Ring Central to Teams. Do you know if there is an easy way to do this so that we don’t have to delete all existing meetings?"

  20. Incoming Call / Notification in MS Teams

    While testing inbound calls into my RingCentral extension, I noticed that I do not get notifications on my cell phone's MS Teams with the RingCentral embedded app. If I log in to the RingCentral mobile app, I do get notified but only on the RingCentral mobile app.
