Coming later in 2023, users will be able to select their outbound number in the separate messaging window (not just in settings). This only addresses outbound caller ID. If you would like to see a more shared inbox group texting option, please vote for these ideas: Add a text message queue similar to the call queueTexts should go to multiple users

An error occurred while saving the comment John commentedAbsolutely required. I cannot believe this does not exist already. From a reporting standpoint, unanswered both calls during and outside business hours are recorded as abandoned. This makes no sense. A missed call during business hours and a missed call outside business hours are not the same at all.
Currently, only the account designated Operator or the designated Company Fax/SMS Recipient can send text messages with an outbound caller id number other than their own extension.Enabling other users to send messages from the company main number will permit a team to more effectively engage customers via text message.
