Having the correct phone # info on both incoming and outgoing calls AND being able to track the actual path a call takes once inside the system are very important features to us, for tracking, metrics, etc. I just don't understand how a "new" phone system can be missing so many of the features that we had been using in our old phone system for DECADES.

We do not EVER cold transfer calls so we need for this to work with warm/supervised transfers too, but we NEED the caller ID to appear for notes & recording purposes.

This and a few other shortcomings with the Messaging feature in RC are the main reason we are still using our old messaging system. The other MAJOR issue with RC messaging is that non-members cannot message a group. The literature leads you to believe that this will be possible with a Public group (as opposed to a Private group) so we weren't worried until we actually tried to implement. Our experience has been, that even with a Public group, people can't even see it unless they are a member. Our IM system is crucial for our Reception and Intake teams' workflow and both of those teams need to be able to message other groups, that they are not members of. It's a problem.
