  1. This week (around March 4th, 2025), the desktop version of RC changed so I can no longer see the SMS history when sending a new text message. I want to be able to type in a number or contact name and see the history of the text thread instead of a blank window with nothing of the previous messages. Please switch it back!

  2. I am being inconvieanced by the new text messsage dialog not just opening up the thread of messages between the contact but making you write the new message in a dialog instead. It would be helpful if we can see first the SMS thread before asking to compose and send a new message

  3. Currently, call queue groups are displayed in the contact list when users attempt to send an SMS and browse their contacts. We want to prevent these groups from being visible to users while sending SMS or browsing contacts for SMS, but still maintain their availability in the company phone directory. We would like to add an option in the app that allows GLIP administrators to toggle the visibility of call queue groups in the SMS contact list, while ensuring they remain visible in the company phone directory.

  10. Turn Off Filtered Words for SMS Texting

    We run a ketamine-assisted therapy clinic and are not able to use the word “ketamine” without it being filtered. This is seriously impacting our business and ability to communicate about the service we offer. We did not have this issue with iPlum or Google Voice and only switched to RingCentral for the added features. How do we resolve this so we can resume normal business? We need this single word uncensored. Please advise.

  11. We are using another provider to be able to share our main number sms inbox, I learned that an update will be coming soon that will allow users to share an inbox, that is great!.

    But, we also need to be able to send a mass texts to our contacts, to announce office closure, holiday greetings or other business related announcements.

    This feature will get RC close to being a one stop option for Voice/Text service.

  18. Have a seperate sections for sms texts to be saved into a seperate folder area (not add to favorite texts) so that we can have it saved for future leads when we have texts that we want saved without going through 50 to 5000 sms texts going down the line we have with all the sms texts.

  20. not receiving 2 factor authentication via whatsapp, sms not going through and getting an error to try again after an hour,sms not even showing on sms log under admin portal. tried 2fa via call but calls are disconnecting which also shows on our call logs tried other RC numbers but not being recognize as U.S number even though that it is U.S number.
