  2. When sending MMS to customers , ".png" format image sending shows "Message cannot be sent".
    I need to convert the pictures to.jpg format every time in order to send them successfully.
    May I ask what causes this?

  3. I don't understand why everyone in the office who are ringcentral users cannot read or reply to all sms messages that we get. This feature is critical to our daily duties. This will allow all and any users to read and reply to our customers without relying on only one staff. To avoid unnecessary wait time for all customers and prevent miscommunication.

  4. The Customer wants no delay when it comes to viewing previous text conversations.
    Currently, there's a delay, they are forced to refresh the thread multiple times, before the previous texts become visible.

  5. When sending a text message, if the message doesn’t go through, there is currently no notification or any indication that it has not gone through. It takes returning to the messaging thread to see that it was unsuccessful. Please enable either a notification or “red dot” over the texting icon and the message thread to indicate when this has happened. Akin to if a message has been received.

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently using RingCentral for our communication needs and have encountered a limitation that we hope you can help us resolve. We have been trying to create a group text by entering phone numbers (without extension numbers) to send bulk messages and images. However, we have noticed that there is a limit of only 11 members per group text, and we are unable to add a 12th phone number.

  9. The app has a limitation that allows renaming up to 30 groups, and any attempts to rename more than that will result in failure. We would like to request an increase in the number of groups that can be renamed within the app.

  10. Currently if an account received an SMS from a short code number that matches an Extension number in the account, it shows like its an SMS from an Ext in the account.

    Usually you cannot reply from a short code SMS
    but if it happens to match the from to an Ext number you will be able to reply from it and SMs will be sent to that User ext

  16. Please implement something to manage SMS opt-ins. I should be able to automatically opt-in every number in my business instance as their continued employment constitutes acceptance. But external parties maybe go to www.ringcentral.com/[cust #]/[campaign #]/[phone number] to opt in.

    Maybe give a webpage where I can upload my company logo and which has default acceptable text for opting in that we can modify. You could help your customers ensure compliance by preventing SMS messages to numbers that aren't opted in, since you already have the opt-out database, and would explicitly have the opt-in information. You'd need the ability to import…

  18. Currently the email notification template for received text messages only includes a label in the "TO" field of the email body and not the actual phone # the text message was sent to.

    It would be helpful if the phone # the text was sent to was also provided, especially when an extension has multiple phone #'s assigned to it or if the text happened to be directed to a Company phone # (or site) that is not on a user or message-only extension.

  19. not receiving 2 factor authentication via whatsapp, sms not going through and getting an error to try again after an hour,sms not even showing on sms log under admin portal. tried 2fa via call but calls are disconnecting which also shows on our call logs tried other RC numbers but not being recognize as U.S number even though that it is U.S number.
