  4. Have a seperate sections for sms texts to be saved into a seperate folder area (not add to favorite texts) so that we can have it saved for future leads when we have texts that we want saved without going through 50 to 5000 sms texts going down the line we have with all the sms texts.

  7. Currently, the SMS feature within RingCentral is exclusively available for RingCentral US and Canada brands. This limitation prevents RingCentral UK brands (and potentially other regional brands) that utilize US or Canadian phone numbers from accessing and utilizing SMS capabilities.

    This restriction creates inconsistencies and inefficiencies for organizations that operate across multiple RingCentral brands but rely on US or Canadian phone numbers for specific teams or purposes. For example, a RingCentral UK entity with a US-based support team using US numbers cannot leverage the integrated SMS functionality for customer communication, internal alerts, or other use cases.

  8. In the RingCental Phone app, have the SMS/Text notifications respect the users Schedule.

    This would have the app not make any notifications for a text message outside of the users scheduled hours. This would behave just as it does for the phone aspect. If a users schedule is set to 9-5, the phone would not ring from 5:01 to 8:59 the next day. Text message notifications should behave the same. When a user is then in their normal schedule, they would see the new text notification just like they see a missed call notification.

  11. Instead of limited Shared Lines function, RC at least should have call/sms participators for management roles. There should be collab folder for calls, sms and faxes for all team members to reach out and be able to take actions on behalf of their managers, if they are assigned correct permission or added to correct user group.

  12. I am being asked if the RingCentral platform could be a messaging application to warn people of possible upcoming weather conditions. To send an alert via text and or email. Also, if it could include personal numbers and emails. I would need to know the cost of something like this per month and per message if applicable. Could there be a group made to send it as well. Lastly, if it would require a manual add of each device/number/email.

  13. We are an insurance agency and receive numerous photos from our clients. In many cases we receive 20+ photos in a single conversation. We need the ability to quickly download those photos (ie, in bulk). The ability to package the photos into a Zip or similar file and download all at once would save us time!

Whenever the customer do an auto reply, auto send via SMS to different numbers , they want to have the ability to identify or get a notification if the receiving number is an invalid number, either landlines that cannot receive messages, or if messaging to those numbers are not allowed or provisioned by their carrier. They should not get an error that says "Message cannot be sent".

  17. Other companies offer a way to "flag" text messages to better track what you are working on. I'd like to have a flag to remind me I'm still waiting on an answer or it needs follow up. It would be great if there were different flags that I could customize to fit my needs. It would be nice if we could "Pin" a text feed so it always shows up at the top.

  18. I would like to suggest a feature for adding a much more detailed view of when a user is added and/or removed from the SMS business campaign. Currently when removing a phone number from the SMS campaign, it shows who made the change and the number that was removed. When we add a phone number, it only states "1 number(s) was/were assigned to the registration "Registered Brand" so we have a difficult time trying to get a timeline created when a user requests the feature and states they had it before.

  19. When you STAR an individual text message which marks it as "ADD TO FAVORT TEXTES" that should move all those Stared text messages to the TOP so you can easily find them. The current problem is that you must scroll though all your text messages to find the ones that are "Stared" . It would also be better of the actual Star would be darker, as it is a very light grey and doesnt stand out from all the other text messages. I personally use the Star function to remind me to follow up with those messages or to mark…

  20. Could you please make the following changes to the way customers receive text messages from us?

    Sender Display Name:

    Instead of showing "via RingCentral" as the sender, we’d like the messages to display our main company name (e.g., [Company Name]).

    Sender Phone Number:

    We’d like the number displayed to be our main company number ([Insert Main Company Number]) instead of any alternative numbers.

    These updates are important for ensuring brand consistency and trust in our communications.
