  6. When sending a SMS the gray pop up for attaching something to the SMS will appear over the message causing parts of the message to be hidden.
    Request to have pop up icon go up instead of down to prevent it from hiding SMS content.

  7. Sometimes you want to do follow up with your client in a week or two from your conversation and you have to create a reminder and then find his number and text him. Imagine you could text him thank you for taking my call. And immediately schedule text for the date and time he requested…. Easy!! And awesome!

  9. App does not honor user role settings to prevent SMS company template creation

    We have a custom role applied to user to prevent them from adding company SMS templates but it still allows them to create via the texting interface.

  11. I would like to make a suggestion of a new feature to add to ring central. When entering a name to send a text it would be good to add a button to create a new contact if that person is not already in your contact list so you do not have to go to contacts and retype the name again to create a new contact.

Requesting a system enhancement that automatically converts long SMS messages (e.g., job listings with pay rates) into MMS format or optimally splits them across SMS segments, while removing/replacing special characters that trigger UCS-2 encoding.   19. We would like to request an enhancement to the RingCentral for Salesforce integration that allows users to access and utilize text templates created or available in the RingCentral app directly within RingCentral for Salesforce.

    Business Need / Use Case:
    Currently, agents and users who rely on RingCentral for Salesforce must manually type or copy/paste recurring text responses when sending SMS messages to customers. While text templates are available in the RingCentral app, these templates are not accessible within the RingCentral for Salesforce interface.

In the case of an emergency, set up an extension, even within the emergency section in EX that can be called quickly during an event i.e. gun fire, robbery, ******* that can be hot keyed on a desk phone and when called will send a text to certain mobile phones for the companies response team. This would be pivotal as email to text will no longer be an option in the near future and is what is used currently.
