Shared External Contacts Limits
Please increase the Setup limited of 50,000 contacts at one time for Shared External Contacts Limits and have some other options aside from automatically deleting the previous uploaded Shared External Contacts.

Customer saved the phone number as a contact on her mobile device; she wants to override the contact's displayed CNAM.
Currently, if a number is saved as a contact on a mobile device, the device prioritizes the local contact name and does not allow CNAM information to override it during incoming calls.
Requesting the implementation of a feature that allows CNAM to override the saved contact name on mobile devices, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date caller identification is displayed, even when a contact exists locally.

HubSpot Contacts in RingCentral Admin Portal Call Logs
The customer using RingCentral for HubSpot would like to add a feature that automatically populates Contact Names/Deal Names in the Admin Portal Call Logs. Currently, the contacts sync only affects the personal and company directory on the RingCentral application side.

Update the CNAM data base for 3rd party Number
When calling a RingCentral number from a personal number, it's showing an incorrect caller ID. But When calling a other 3rd party number it shows the correct caller ID.

Mass import phone numbers for call rule
To create a call rule where certain Contact phone numbers calling in go directly to a specific voicemail. There are hundreds of these phone numbers, so adding them one at a time to the call rule is not feasible.

External Shared Directory - One number different contacts
The are several different contacts existing. These contacts/individuals (rightly) share one telephone number. Meaning, they can be reached at the same number, e.g. telephone connection in a workshop hall or production facility. As such, as in the private addressbook it should be possible to upload multiple contact with different name and the same phone number.
Desired outcome for the external shared directory please refer to screenshot in the comments, example taken from private addressbook.

Multisite - support for 'site' contacts Directory limited, not entire company
This is a common ask in the retail market like we faced during the DECATHLON project.
This will allow for the end user to access a directory based on the following:
-/ Global Directory (e.g. all stores) tier
-/ Regional Directory (e.g. stores in 1 city) tier
-/ Local Directory (e.g. specific store site) tierEvery store is usually autonomous and needs access to his own directory and is not shared among other stores.

Global Address Book
Currently, when users connect their RingCentral app's Contact Directory to Microsoft 365 using their company email addresses, all users within the Entra Hybrid Tenant are imported into the Global Address List (GAL). This behavior is undesirable as it exposes internal users to all employees, including those without direct communication needs.

Users will remain visible in the RingCentral App until they are deleted from the Microsoft 365 Settings
The termed users in the MS 365 as 'Active users', but they marked these termed users as 'Do not show in GAL' and in the RC app, these users are still showing as company contacts; their request is to not show these users in RC app.

We are one company that creates a site for each office we have. In the RingCentral web app, when searching for internal extensions it would be helpful to be able to filter the search to show extensions assigned to a location

Google Workspace Delegated contacts
Include Google contacts in the Delegated contacts in the RingCentral App supported contacts connection.

copy the Name of the contact saved on the user's phone to the the recipient.
Activate a feature that allows the name associated with a saved contact to be visible to the person receiving a transferred call. This feature would display the contact's name to the call recipient when the caller is saved in the customer's contacts and has a name assigned to them.

remove invited contacts under company contact list
customer cant remove the invited contacts under company contact list, it only has the option to resend but not to remove. the said emails cannot also be deleted from our end since the user didnt sign up completely.

We purposely don't include some users in the company directory, but certain users need to be able to see that information like HR
We have field associates that we want to hide their contact information from MOST associates so we don't include them in the company directory, but associates in our IT department, HR Department, and Executive level managers need to be able to use the directory to reach them and can't because you can't select whose has permissions to see them once they are included in the company directory. So, we don't get full use of RingCentral and have to give out user's cell phone numbers instead, not ideal.

Edit Share Contacts
Customer currently do not have a way to be able to edit shared external contacts.
Current method to edit via csv file and re-upload the template is such a hassle and inconvenient for user adding or editing shared external contacts,Customers would like to have a feature where
1.) Shared External Contacts can be edit using Ringcentral App or SW
2.) Upload Shared External contacts without using .csv File
3.If 2 is not possible at least add shared external contacts without downloading the whole data of the template.13 votes -

Need more Contacts
Can you increase our companies contact limit to like 1,000,000?
Currently the limit is 10,000 and its hurting our experience because we need all hubspot contacts in ring central for simple usage..
