  3. The customer is uploading external contacts to the directory via a CSV file by setting the source column as "RingCentral (Default)" and wants to add these contacts to their favorites, which is currently not possible.

    Request: Enable users to mark contacts as Favorites when the contact source is set to "RingCentral (Default)" via CSV import. Currently, even if the source in the CSV is set correctly, these contacts appear in the app as "Shared Directory", which prevents users from favoriting them.   4. On the Contact list under "All Contacts" RC has the user's name and below the users email address. Why? If you want the email address you can just go into the Contacts Profile. If you add the contact as a favorite the email address is replaced with the users Availability status, which is MUCH for useful in an PHONE telephone application/list. We do not email through RingCentral so I do not see why it would show a contacts email address instead of the users Presence Status.

  5. Introduce a way to assign or manage users in alphabetical order by name without relying on the Presence feature directly in the admin portal. An Excel/CSV upload option that allows for assigning users in bulk.

    This would help admins manage users more efficiently, especially in organizations with large teams where alphabetical order is important for internal processes or reporting.

  7. Currently, when users save personal contacts within the RingCentral app, the phone number is automatically stored with the country code prefix “1” (for U.S. and Canada). This causes compatibility issues when using these contacts in other applications or when exporting contact cards (vCards).

    Allow users to save and export personal contacts without automatically adding the “1” prefix, ensuring better interoperability with other apps that rely on standard contact formatting.

  9. Currently, if a number is saved as a contact on a mobile device, the device prioritizes the local contact name and does not allow CNAM information to override it during incoming calls.

    Requesting the implementation of a feature that allows CNAM to override the saved contact name on mobile devices, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date caller identification is displayed, even when a contact exists locally.

  11. The customer would like to customize the caller ID display on Yealink desk phones for calls routed through a Call Queue. Specifically, when a customer dials the company hotline and the call is answered by a user in the queue, they want the phone display to show additional internal information associated with the customer’s extension or account.

    Current Behavior:
    Currently, the phone displays:

    The Call Queue number that was dialed (e.g., Hotline Number), and

    The caller's phone number.

    Requested Behavior:
    Instead of displaying just the phone number in item #2, the customer would like to show custom text such as:

  12. To create a call rule where certain Contact phone numbers calling in go directly to a specific voicemail. There are hundreds of these phone numbers, so adding them one at a time to the call rule is not feasible.

  13. The are several different contacts existing. These contacts/individuals (rightly) share one telephone number. Meaning, they can be reached at the same number, e.g. telephone connection in a workshop hall or production facility. As such, as in the private addressbook it should be possible to upload multiple contact with different name and the same phone number.

  15. This is a common ask in the retail market like we faced during the DECATHLON project.
    This will allow for the end user to access a directory based on the following:
    -/ Global Directory (e.g. all stores) tier
    -/ Regional Directory (e.g. stores in 1 city) tier
    -/ Local Directory (e.g. specific store site) tier

    Every store is usually autonomous and needs access to his own directory and is not shared among other stores.
    In case we can’t support site directory - as a minimum the ask is to support search based on multiple criteria:

  19. Activate a feature that allows the name associated with a saved contact to be visible to the person receiving a transferred call. This feature would display the contact's name to the call recipient when the caller is saved in the customer's contacts and has a name assigned to them.
