  1. Currently, inbound faxes are directed to a phone number, which can be less straightforward to verify and manage. Client is concerned about phishing and bogus faxes containing potentially infected attachments. This issue has heightened the need for a more secure and easily verifiable fax address.

    We would like to request a feature that allows us to use a simplified, easily recognizable address for inbound faxes. This could be in the form of an email address or a unique identifier that is simpler to verify compared to a phone number.

  5. Whenever I received faxes, I also received voicemail notifications on my yealink device. And if I delete it, it will also delete the fax attached to the email notification I received.

  8. Extend ATA support to credit card processing devices. When asking about porting these devices over to RingCentral, I was informed they should be replaced with units that use Ethernet instead of telephone. Being able to port them as is by using an ATA adapter would have been preferred.

  10. Hi team, Is there a possibility to hide/remove the last name of the user sending a fax from RC app using print to fax feature? Some of our staff member reported that they want to maintain their privacy and do not want their last name displayed in the fax that is being sent to recipients.

The idea is that you could configure a fax central service that could receive faxes from a set of phone numbers, and then could route the incoming faxes to different user inboxes based on which fax number was called. The faxes would be delivered to internal email users via attachment, but using a direct connection to our email environment so that the transmission of the email attachment is secure.
    The solution would include a log for auditing of all incoming and outgoing faxes.

Currently, when a user extension (other than the Main Super Admin) sends a fax internally using company numbers as the Fax Caller ID, the name displayed on the received fax notification is that of the Main Super Admin. This can cause confusion, especially when the fax attachment is not included in the email, as the recipient may assume the fax was sent by the Main Super Admin. It would be greatly helpful if the notification could display the actual name of the user extension that sent the fax.
