  1. Time widget in chat

    We always chat with collegues from different time zones and raising questions like:
    - "Is it comfortable for you to have a meeting at 7:00PM EST/08:00AM GMT-6/15:00 (your city/country/etc)"

    I would like to have a button in the message window (right to the text format/file attache/emojis/gif/audio-video message).
    On click:
    - Open a window to type or select date-time from timepicker
    - Click "OK"
    - Add something like: {datetime:2025-05-02T12:30:13UTC} in the message
    - Show it for all users in theris timezone

    I see message:
    - "Would you like to meet at 05 May 19:00 EST?" (my timezone)
    Person sees:
    - "Would…

  2. Verizon Wireless SMS text notification XXXXXXXXXX@vtext.com

    Need to allow Verizon Wireless SMS text notifications from Ring Central admin portal. Any singular users and user groups. All other wireless carriers allow this now, and it currently works. Verizon is not currently working and we need this fixed ASAP.

    Schedule messages.
    This request already exists in the SMS channel, but it's so important in Team messaging too! Being able to schedule a message to avoid disturbing a teammate during week ends or late at night is a must have.

  4. Sending audio and video recordings using messages in the RingCentral app

    Add this feature for SMS / TXT to non-internal messenger users in our group. I have a lot of external customers I've added as contacts to my RC contact directory that I'd like to do direct video SMS to vs. taking a video and attaching to the SMS text message.

  5. Update Folder Globally

    The customer wants to avoid posting a message in the wrong group, and they think Folders would help prevent that. From what the customer can tell, it only applies to him when he moves teams to folders. Wants to have a way to set this up globally so it applies to everyone's login.

    Is it possible to give us a feature wherein we can see the status of messages we sent. whether it is delivered or seen and who sees it when sent to group chatroom? we are using the messages tool to communicate internally to organization members and it is necessary for us to know if the notifications are read or not.

    Although certain messages can be pinned which is useful, it would be more helpful to be able to search by words or numbers throughout the entire conversation history with a person or team messaging group.

  12. Online Document Editing for Ring Central App

    It would be very helpful if Ring Central offered online document editing, similar to Microsoft Teams. Currently, my team is able to share files within Ring Central but must download, change and re-upload. We can't work on documents simultaneously and see changes immediately. I've like to see online file sharing as an included Ring Central feature.

  13. New Message Teams Not Showing in Mobile App

    Right now, when you create a new Message Team, it only shows up in the Desktop App. It does not show up in the Mobile App. In order to see it in the mobile app, you have to send a first message to the Team with the Desktop App. Only then does it become visible in the Mobile App. Please change it so that newly created Teams are visible in the Desktop App AND in the Mobile App.

  14. Allow new Teams to be added in the mobile app

    Right now, when a new Team is created in Messaging, it only shows up in the Desktop App. It does not show up in the Mobile App... UNTIL you send the first message to the group using the Desktop App, then it shows up in both apps. Please allow new Teams to be visible in both the Desktop App AND in the mobile app.

  17. Text with Gif Messages

    When clicking on a GIF it automatically sends. It would be nice if it was added to the text field so we can add a message to accompany the GIF. In our office, we like to do birthday shout-outs and currently, we have to send two separate messages, one with the gif and the second with the shout-out. It would be nice if it could be one message together.

  19. Make Task scrolling unlimited

    Scrolling through tasks is currently limited to 18 before you have to click the "All Tasks" button to see the not displayed tasks. I would like to have unlimited scrolling so all tasks are always in the list.
