  1. It would be great if we could get the provisioned Park 1 & Park 2 buttons to work where we could actually park a call on these soft keys. It would also be helpful if we could program the page button to an extension so users didn't have to remember the extension to page. The is a safety thing in our business and seems pretty easy to do but support says it's not possible.

  2. We can only add users to presence/line keys on phones. I want to add Queues as well, so agents can call the entire other department rather than having to know the specific users that are available.

I have a VVX 450 phone with VVX EM 50, which allows me to have an additional 90 speed dials.I have been told the only way to enter those 90+ speed dials is through the VVX 450 hard-phone interface. Creating each contact on the hard phone using the T9 - "First Name", "Last Name", "Contact", and "Label" (not to mention all of the other fields) is LABORIOUS. I have even tried plugging a USB keyboard into the phone, but it doesn't work to input info into the "Add Contact" fields.I can create favorites in the app, but they do not…

  7. Typical use case is in a classroom with device (handset) "Device only License"

    Why Limited Xtn doesn't work

    No Intercom, No Paging - emergency situations
    Limited Ring Duration (20 Secs)

    What it doesn't need is:

    Outbound Calling Minutes (can use pooled)
    No Messaging, No Video, No Softphone
    Does not need to be in call queue
    Does not need mobile app

    What it does need is:

    2-way Intercom and 2-way Paging. Needs to be in a paging group
    Programming of buttons. Call Reception, speed dial, 000, etc
    Could be SIP Device for Doorbell/Video Phones/etc

    Average School 300-400 devices, 50-60 Admin

  8. Right now I only get an indication on my Yealink desktop phone that i have missed calls. I would like a separate notification on my desktop phone that would tell me if any of those missed calls left a voicemail.

  10. It would be very helpful to be able to centrally manage firmware updates to devices vs having to update each one individually. Other tier-1 providers already perform firmware updates for devices without requiring it to be performed manually.

  11. For Polycom VVX series phones, we've had coimplaints that the text size on the screen is very small and hard to read for many of our employees. I see in the VVX manuals there is a way to increase that (I believe just a large or small setting) and that option is not available when I look at the firmware settings where it is indicated it will be on the rental/purchased phones we have. It would be nice to either default to the larger size, or provide an option for users to incresae the size (understanding there may be limitations…

  13. Our MVP standard account doesn't give us the ability to disable the DND softkey on phones per user/phone. We are looking to upgrade our account (for a different reason), but do any of the plans give the ability to control access to the DND softkey via the admin web portal?

  14. We have an unleievably high number of support requests that come in advising users are not recieving any inbound calls on their handsets. Upon further investigation and request for photographs we learn that they have turned on DND and forgotten to turn it back off.It would be ideal if the RC Admin Portal, Devices page also reported on the DND status of a device, making it easier to detect this issue.

  16. Please allow admins to order more than one phone at a time for end users at a site. We should be able to add them all to one order at the same time. This would go for regular end users as well at different locations. One order at a time is inefficient

  17. The VVX 350 Polycom desk phone does not remember the Speaker Phone volume after powering off and on againPlease configure the phone, so it remembers the Speakerphone volume.The Polycom phone does remember the Ring volume on the phone when unplugging from the power and plugged it back in.

  19. Most legacy system's have a button that can be programmed on a keyset to send out an alternate caller id. Ring Central does not have this. I understand you can change it in the client but not everyone uses the client. This should be available to change on the fly when using a regular keyset. Please understand that this is an important feature for lots of customers and consider adding it as a feature.

  20. Wish "Forward" was a default softkey on the Polycom VVX phones instead of Intercom or Page. Even if you had a "More" softkey on the idle screen, that would let you get to a Forward softkey, that would be better than no Forward option at all.
