  1. In the iPhone app, pressing 'Enter' goes to the next line in the text to start a new paragraph. On the Windows desktop version, pressing 'Enter' sends the text. Please change the desktop app to be like the iPhone app so I don't accidentally send my text with only the recipient's name, or just before I put my name at the end. Please have the text send only by clicking the paper airplane.Or at least provide options in the settings for how people want to send their texts.Thank you!

  2. ... through the RC admin portal do not work for users only using the Desktop and Mobile app versions of RC.. We contacted RingCentral support about some of our users not being able to use the Call Me function to receive calls to their mobile and desktop apps and RC support's response was only desk phones and RingCentral Phone is currently setup to do this. They suggested we put in a new idea to get the RC desktop and mobile apps added to their line registration page (why wasn't this considered before this) so we're posting that idea here. As…

  3. In the RC UC app, there is an option to "Delete All Call History". That option should also exist for just Voicemails, amd Missed Calls. Users should not have to delete individual Missed Calls or Voicemails. FYI, Users had this functionality in the RC Phone app.Thank you.

  5. It would be great to add the ability to received notifications for missed calls for delegated calls. Often the Executive assistant needs to return missed calls and if they do not have access to the notifications, it's very limiting.

  6. This feature would help the app act the same as a desk phone if you are taking external calls and transferring them to other users. After taking an external call, going to call actions and clicking transfer, the caller would automatically be placed on hold as you dial an internal extension or search for a user for a warm or blind transfer. Currently, there is not an option to place a caller on hold while processing a transfer, leaving an awkward moment of silence before completion.   14. My RC account gave me a main line and then a direct dial number. System currently set up such that the caller ID bar which displays when you get a call does not distinguish whether the caller is calling the general line of my direct dial line. Apparently, all cell phones have this problem.   16. The suggestion is to add an option, which allow call queue calls to be notified, even if the user is busy. We have the following example, provided by one of our customers: While on a call with their colleagues, the emplyees are missing external calls, which are more important to them.

Ideally when a customer calls, if the only agent in at that time is onanother call, they would either a) be able to put the current caller onhold for a moment to take the incoming call's contact information or b)when they are finished with the current call, they would have a Missed Callnotification alerting them to the missed call to return the call.

  18. Admin should be able to define a list of subdomains and domains for which links will never show link previews. For example, suppose an organization often shares links to another app's pages where their staff has to be logged in. I would suggest this is true for most of your clients. In the current paradigm, the "Please Log In" preview is shown every time these links are shared and the preview is not useful at all. Sometimes we share 10+ such links.
