  1. There are moments that we need to send message to whole congregation through email, text, and voicemail. If I could use ringcentral to send a prerecorded message would help greatly.

  2. We have agents that are in multiple call queues. While on a call in call queue A the agent is still being alerted to new calls distributed by call queue B or call queue C. It would be a good idea to make all call queues aware of an agents status in other call queues. Saving time and not subjecting customers to longer wait times.

  3. We have users on wifi phones (Spectralink 8440) connected to RingCentral. This is accomplished through manual provisioning. These are limited extension users, and they do not appear in any Contact list whatsoever in the RingCentral app. The only place you can search for them is by opening the dial pad, and searching from there. They aren't in Contact lists at all, and they can be searched using the central search box at the top of the app.

Some SMS messages are blocked due to restricted words as per CTIA guidelines - https://api.ctia.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/190719-CTIA-Messaging-Principles-and-Best-Practices-FINAL.pdfRingcentral could have a prompt or notification that will advise users that the SMS did not go through due to the above mentioned.Ringcentral could also have the information about the prohibited words under the Terms of Service.

  6. Being able to accept calls and end calls via the call control function (button on headset) does not work on EPOS Sennheiser models (specically D10 headset). Is it possible to include more headset models (other than Jabra and Plantronics) that can be used with the desktop app. Need to have more compatible models - Specifically Sennheiser.

When you click on that "click here" link, from an email notification that you've received a text, it actually takes you to: https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/p/ringcentral-apps (which has nothing to do with where you really want to be), which is here: https://app.ringcentral.com/phone/sms . The link in the email notification cited above takes you to "Ring Central App Gallery". I'll trade you my kingdom for this streamlined simplicity ;p).....

  8. Team profiles might contain nformation and static resources about the team, such as documentation, links to get help, etc. Link in this area are NOT clickable, but they should be. Copy/pasting a link is time consuming.

  9. Currently on the Ringcentral App, you can only see a listing of all voicemails that have been received in your Ringcentral App but it does not show you the total number of voicemails. Given that the cap on the maximum amount of voicemails one can have is 200, it would be helpful to see at a glance, the total number of voicemails one has at all times.

  10. We noticed there was a contact listed that is no longer with us -- and is not part of the Web Admin Portal user list at all. Chat support said they'd need to manually request a deletion since there is no way for me as an acct Super Admin to do this in the App or the Web Portal.Chat support also said of a "team" a super-admin is not by default an admin -- and I had to have a random employee who setup a team give me team access so I could delete it since it wasn't necessary.

  12. It would be great to add a button on the app or dial pad that allows unconditional call forwarding by pressing it and typing a name or number. That way users can change forwarding state and destination quickly, rather than go to the service portal and change it each time.

  13. Change the color of the "green" available light/icon to a brighter shade. The lack of contrast makes it hard to see rather or not the user is available on most devised. A much brighter shade or different color all together would make it easier to see

  14. There is no way to shrink the window and show more of the name under tasks. When shrunk, most data lost, when enlarged, lots of blank space. I'd like more control over the window size/shape on my desktop.

  17. Participant sort list seems random, should be able to sort by alpha, surname, who's unmuted/talking, etc. Seems to be a huge missing feature. Additionally, the fact that the participant list seems to randomly change order is problematic when trying to use the list.

I hope we can add the TTS option / typing box inside the Admin portal 's Auto receptionist > company greeting > custom - as an option too aside from recording and uploading an mp3/wav Text to speech recording. Customers should have a built in box there to type Text to speech instead of doing the lengthy workaround of TTS via IVR menus - specially when they don't want to do key presses or select extensions - but just do a Company greeting via text to speech.

I updated my RingCentral app on my Mac a while back (now version 21.2.10.452 Web, 21.2.10.949 Mac) and since then, an important feature no longer works: the Team/Room Description that used to show up in the right hand pane (and contained helpful info and links for the room) is no longer there. Seems you can get to it by way of the three dots in the upper left but that is far less useful than having it right there upon arriving at the room.It would be incredibly helpful to have that back for immediate orientation for folks joining a room.
