Provide soft lighting or other more flattering options
Zoom allows a set up where you can soften the lighting and slightly blur your video - makes you look a little more attractive on videos. Would be great to have a similar feature. If this feature already exists, make it far easier to find!

Require Email Address when joining RCV meeting
Require email address (or have an option to require it in setting up RCV) when a participant joins a RCV meeting, webinar, or event. This would help in the backend to properly track attendees and easily share to them the recording of the meeting.

Pre-Meeting Registration
A pre-meeting registration is where a special link is created for people to insert their details (name, email, etc.). Once registered, the host can get an email indicating a new attendant, or recieve the information with some other method. This comes in handy when you're hosting an informational meeting and you don't know who is going to show up.Zoom has a meeting registration so you know how many people are going to show up for the call. That way you can notify them that the meeting is starting if they can't join.

Adding Spotlight Feature similiar to RC Meetings (Zoom)
We do a lot of teaching videos live. We also record the videos and make it available to our subscribers. This allows teachers to hightlight their video. It also allows a teacher to record the video without concern of violating anyone's privacy. This feature is currently available in RC Meetings and Zoom.

Proximity based meetings and breakout rooms
I was recently at a virtual conference that used Proximity-based breakout rooms. And I thought this was an interesting concept for RC to consider for the RCV platform. The idea here is that you can move your avatar around a virtual space and join conversations based on where you are in proximity to other avatars of people in the same space. It also seemed to have the ability to have a main area where proximity conferences could flow freely as well as side rooms that were specific conferences in a more webinar style. This virtual reality meeting style more closely…

Audio by default when Video is played
Greetings!!!'Audio share' is available in Full screen sharing option and it is not available in other options like 'application sharing' etc., partial screen or specific window sharing options. You might want to add that feature as users might not want to share the entire screen everytime.

Minimize Video Screen
It would be useful to have the video chat minimize so it's just a pop up of the participants and you can work on your computer while you talk.

Show only participants with video.
This was a feature on the other RC powered by Zoom. It would be really nice to have the option to show only participants with video on. I hate that my screen is taken up with black boxes when there are people with video feed that I cannot see.

RCV make it work on Firefox
Firefox is one of few things that stand against Google monopolisation of web technologies. Please do not join the dark side, make web app work in standarts of web - working in all browsers

Please alllow participants to annotate the presentation as allowed by the presenter
Whenever I am using RC Meetings to train, I would normally join using 2 devices, a laptop and a tablet. The laptop shows the power point while I use a stylus on the tablet to illustrate/underline certain parts of the powerpoint.

More like Zoom feature
Collins-mgmt: On the RingCental Meetings app, there's a little drop down menu at the bottom called "More," and when clicking that button you can access multiple features such as "put participants in the waiting room on entry." While I was conducting a meeting the other day I couldn't find this feature and we need it and were using it before. Also, I was unable to click on any participant's phone number or name in order to update the name. Is it possible to add these features to the RingCentral Video app?

Add more audio source options (like Loopback) to share audio from your computer with participants
Zoom makes it much easier to share audio from your computer like iTunes or Spotify. It also is easier on Zoom to route audio into the output of your meeting. RCV is not so easy. There is a company who makes a software program called Loopback that allows you to loop any audio sources from your computer or other places and mix them all together for our output of your meeting. I think that would be cool if RCV let you do more of that type of stuff with audio and allowed for more flexibility for different use cases.

settings in seperate windows
Settings doesn't appear in a seperate window. While I am on a call, and have the gallery on one screen, I can change settings by moving the settings to my second screen and not interupt the gallery view.

Assign a different host or co-host to start Webinars
Option to allow users to assign a new host or co-host for RCV webinars - ahead of time. This way if one person scheduled a webinar, and it's already got a lot of registered people, But they won't be able to attend. - They can assign someone else to start the webinar on their behalf.I just wanted to put in this suggestion for the development of RCV webinars (Because we get this request a lot on RCM webinars, but there is no way to do it there).

Trio Controller - Ability to auto-add password
When selecting a meeting from the Trio device, if the meeting has a password, the user needs to manually enter it to join the meeting. For reference this is using RCM in a RC Room with a Trio 8800 as the controller for the room.

Add keyboard shortcuts for annotation feature
I would like to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to toggle the annotation. Assuming annotations will have more features in the future, I would like to select each annotation option with a keyboard shortcut. My coworkers and clients often need to sketch out concepts during a screen sharing session. It is time consuming in RingCentral Meetings (powered by Zoom) to select different annotation tools. The keyboard shortcuts would make sketching much easier and faster, especially for people who like to use shortcuts.
