Add Remote Control feature to RC Desktop App - Video
It appears this was a feature in the Meetings App, but is not available in the current version of the Desktop App and our account does not allow us to run Meetings. This is helpful when staff are in a video meeting and they want to hand off control to another presenter or tech support person.

When the meetings app announced it was being discontinued, I did what it told me to do. Download the new app. I downloaded and meetings was gone. Video was in its place. I had my first meeting in it and discovered that I could not take remote control of the employee's mouse. I understand that it is not currently a feature in video but you are looking at implementing it. Why would you take away a valuable tool in meetings without it being active in videos? You need to do more voice of the customer sessions and pay attention to what your customers use before getting rid of it.

We were using meetings to take control of a company computer and work on it remotely. Why you would discontinue meetings and say that you will inable that feature in video in the future makes no sense to me. I guess it is time to move to Teams.

When we do training with video calls, we have our clients share their screen. The ability to take control of their screen would be very helpful. We can do this on gotomeeting.

MS Teams has a feature where other users can request to take control of an individuals screen. It would be great if we could implement this feature.

Depending on the timeline for this feature's implementation, it may hasten our staff's desire to move away from RingCentral and into Teams for meetings, chat, collaboration, etc. This feature was used extensively in Meetings by our staff to assist with training and is necessary for them to work.

We really need this feature so we can remotely support our team when they are having any IT issues.

We use this feature a lot to support our users, especially in recent times as more and more people are not in person for collaboration or help desk. Please add the ability to pass controls to another participant or host.

This is tripling time I spend supporting customers and is fairly basic for a meeting. I'm not sure why the other app was killed off before this was available. PLEASE add this soon.

Many of my meetings involve 3 distinct groups - me as the host, my customer(s), and an outside remote support person. I need for my customer to be able to screen share while allowing remote keyboard control to be granted to the remote support person. This capability worked with RC Meetings, but is not supported in RC Video.

Please add this ASAP. This is a pretty essential feature that is expected with screen sharing applications.

I run a call center, and, there are times when a new user can't get RC to work. Because I can't remotely take over their laptop I can't help. this functionality was available on RC Meetings. This is something I will use.

Please ensure my idea from CUSTCOM-I-1485 is included with this. We do a lot of software installation remotely which requires access to administrative windows that RC meetings doesn't currently allow and we have to have a customer click through the windows for us or enter passwords that they really shouldn't have access to.
