Thanks for this suggestion. Remote control during screen sharing is available today, but only when both the person sharing and the person requesting control are on the RingCentral desktop app. This is because the desktop app has deeper access to your device that a browser simply isn't allowed to have for security reasons — browsers intentionally limit what a website can do with your screen, keyboard, and mouse to protect users.
Bringing remote control to the browser would require the desktop app to be updated to work with those browser limitations, which is a significant undertaking relative to how this feature is used today. After evaluating it, we've decided this isn't something we'll be building, and we're closing this request.
If remote control is something you rely on, we'd recommend joining meetings from the RingCentral desktop app rather than the browser.See Requesting and approving remote desktop control.

Depending on the timeline for this feature's implementation, it may hasten our staff's desire to move away from RingCentral and into Teams for meetings, chat, collaboration, etc. This feature was used extensively in Meetings by our staff to assist with training and is necessary for them to work.
