Video Screen Share and Recordings are VERY blurry on high resolution screens
Hello, the Screen sharing that we use when we host meetings are extremely blurry on high resolution screens. The meeting recordings are also equally blurry. I have called support many times, and was told that I need to LOWER my screen resolution to fix the issue. I can lower the screen resolution but I cannot work like that. The screen is too zoomed in for me to work and share my screen. This needs to be fixed for our team. Zoom is a FREE option, and I have no problem on the video recordings using the same screen. They record HD quality no matter what resolution I use, or what resolution the other person have, so this needs to be fixed, because we are using zoom for our trainings now, but I am paying for Ringcentral. It does not make sense that I am paying for a service that I cannot use because of how horrible the service is. Also, this issue has NOTHING to do with the other person's screen or bad internet. I screen shared with just myself in the meeting, with FULL internet bars and the best internet connection, and it was the same issue. This is unacceptable. Please fix this ASAP.

We use this with a lot of project planning meetings where reading text is critical. In the current state we can't read text from the screen and we lose a ton of value of this product.

We are forced to use zoom due to poor resolution in RingCentral. It seems as though RingCentral will only record meetings in 720p resolution and not 1080p resulting in recorded screen sharing meetings coming out with blurry text. I called support today and they told me that video in the new RingCentral app which we recently switched to has a "feature gap" in this area. I was told that we need to use the old RingCentral Meetings app if we want 1080p HD quality (that app actually uses Zoom on the back end which is why it works). Help, RingCentral... give us video meetings that are high resolution! - this is a standard feature on all video conferencing applications in 2021

RC Video's recordings currently max out at 720P. This is simply not acceptable for capturing video from screens from 20 years ago (1080P), let alone today (2160P). The 1080P max for live video and 720P max for recorded video is simply not sufficient, especially when capturing small details on screen, such as complex systems that have a lot of small text onscreen. Telling end users to change their resolution on their PC before presenting/recording is NOT a solution.

Please add the capability to record in 1080p. I appreciate the increased file size, so perhaps allow this to save locally instead if there are concerns around data storage?
