Capture every call data to CRM, not just on transfer
Today, it seems like AIR will populate data to CRM only upon the caller's "request" to transfer out either with a contextual transfer or just by asking to transfer to a human. As a small business owner myself, I'd like to capture data into CRM on EVERY caller that takes the time to dial my phone number.

VideoPro Extension Email Integration with AI Receptionist Appointments and Calendar
The proposal is to allow users with VideoPro extensions—specifically their email accounts associated with these extensions—to also be assigned appointments in the AI Receptionist system. This would enable these appointments to automatically appear in their calendars, just like RingEX users, improving workflow flexibility and integration across platforms.

Unlimited AI Receptionist Plan
Currently, the AI Receptionist minutes run out too quickly and become very costly for businesses. I believe there is a great opportunity for you to create an affordable unlimited plan.
By offering unlimited usage at a fair price, more businesses will adopt your service, increasing your customer base and making your product more competitive compared to other providers. This would make your solution more attractive, scalable, and sustainable for both small and growing companies

AIR for Text
We love to utilize AIR to enhance our text messaging support. For instance, when a customer sends an SMS to our main number, AIR automatically responds with an SMS to assist them, similar to how it would handle a phone call.

Follow Up Questions for AI Receptionist
The AI Receptionist needs the ability to ask follow up questions kind of like how a multi-level IVR is built. At the moment, it can only send callers somewhere based off the first thing they say without the ability to ask a follow up. For Example:
A doctor's office has 2 divisions we'll call them normal and exotic. Each division has a subset of doctors in that discipline with a group of medical assistants who ultimately field their questions. If a caller calls in for exotic, the AIR needs to ask which doctor before transferring the caller. Right now the…

AI Receptionist back-up extension
It would be a really nice addition if we can have our existing Call Queue/s as a back-up extension for our AI Receptionist. Having it in the Skill "Transfer by context" is a good thing already. But having it as a back-up extension would be much more helpful in times that the AI cannot rely on the context. Hoping to see this feature added in the future.

Enhanced AI Receptionist Customization and FAQ Compliance
Currently, the AI Receptionist uses an FAQ to provide responses, but not all answers set in the FAQ are followed by the AI Receptionist. The responses sometimes differ, and there is no option to update or modify the verbiage (wording) used by the AI.
Feature Request:
Ensure FAQ Compliance – Provide an option to make the AI Receptionist follow the exact answers set in the FAQ, ensuring consistency between the FAQ and the AI's responses.
Verbiage Customization – Allow users to update the verbiage or exact phrasing that the AI Receptionist provides in its responses. This would allow businesses to…6 votes -

Remove or communicate that functions aren't working right now
Today I was testing the AI receptionist that I set up for my business earlier this week. The text feature was offered by the AI receptionist but it was not working. I tried multiple phone numbers, and I chatted with a tech person to make sure my account was set up correctly. It was. The rep stated that the AI receptionist was in beta and there could be times when it is not functioning 100%. I think maybe that if a function isn't working, don't offer it as an option to clients / customers. It is a cool feature, and…

Currently, when a client calls and states "I want to speak to a human", AI Receptionist will automatically offer to transfer the caller to a "receptionist", even when the transfer options in the AIR studio are toggled off. If the caller states "Live human", it will tell the caller there is nobody to take the call, but the specific phrase "I want to speak to a human", the AI receptionist will constantly offer to transfer to a receptionist that doesn't exist. This puts callers into an endless loop where they don't get a receptionist, and get frustrated and end the…

Improve Conversation Flow (and get rid of the clicking/ticking noise)
The receptionist sounds too robotic and doesn't respond to inputs fast enough. If the caller cuts in or interrupts the AI, it should pause what it is saying to receive and respond to the new inputs.
There is also strange clicking noise for every response that needs to go away.
The voices are much better than RCs text to speech in the AA section, granted, but it still "feels" robotic. I understand there is a balance to making sure people know they aren't talking to a human but there are still some annoying things about this AI that could be…

AI
I believe the RingCentral AI experience could be greatly enhanced by moving away from basic text-to-speech menus and greetings. Instead, integrating a more dynamic AI voice—one that sounds warm, expressive, and natural—would go a long way in improving customer interaction.
Currently, the monotone delivery feels robotic and lacks the human-like warmth that today’s users expect from AI-powered systems. Adding more variation in tone and inflection, with a touch of friendliness or enthusiasm, would make the experience feel more welcoming and professional.
As a customer and advocate for smart business solutions, I’d love to see RingCentral’s AI receptionist evolve into the…

AI Receptionist Transfer by Context
Ability to transfer by context. There should be an option to transfer incoming calls to a message-only extension that automatically plays either the default or custom voicemail greeting. This ensures the caller is informed that they’ve reached a voicemail line and are invited to leave a message.
