  1. Currently, if a phone number is associated with multiple contact records, the application will show all contacts linked to the same number without any filtering.

    We are looking for a way to force a number associated with multiple contacts to display as a Department or Site number during dialing.

  2. automatically sync RingCentral contacts to Google Workspace

    I want to sync RingCentral contacts to Google Workspace without changing our current SCIM setup.
    I have some teams on Google Voice that need to be able to see our other teams on RingCentral for call handling.

    Importing via a .csv file is not effective as the file will need to be periodically downloaded from RingCentral, and then imported into Google Workspace.

  4. It would be great if we had the option to integrate WhatsApp into MVP office plans.Currently, there is no direct way to integrate WhatsApp and their MVP account. The only way is by having a RingCX Digital account and connecting to WhatsApp. If they need help in setting up RingCX Digital account, they will have to reach out to their Account Manager or our Sales team.

Since the business is adding an existing device to their RingCentral account, it would be very helpful if there's some sort of Flag or Warning that will show on the actual desk phone when they add it to their RingCentral account that will tell them the device is already registered on another account instead of them calling support. It will save more time for them instead of trying to register a device that cannot be registered since it is already added to a different account.

  10. Problem Statement: Currently, the SSO Enable toggle switch is visilbe to all users regardless of their roles. This can create confusion for users who do not have the permission to modify these settings and may propose a risk for accidential misconfigurations.

    Proposed Solution: Introduce a role base visibility logic for the SSO toggle, usign a user settings template to determine visibility based on specific role levels. This approach ensures that only the selected admins etc can view and manage the setting while hiding it from other users and provide more flexibility in managing roles.

  11. It would be nice if we could set a future date on the Disable User confirmation window, so we can schedule out our MACD's. User will be disabled on X date and time. rather than instantly.

  14. For Automatic Call Recording in UC, it would be nice to have a separate message played for inbound calls and outbound calls. For example, when someone calls into an extension that has inbound calls recorded, the get one message. When someone calls out on an extension that has their outbound calls recorded, we could have a different message that states Who is calling and then after informing them of calls being recorded. If they know who is calling, then we may not have as many hangups.

  17. Customer wants to have the option to sync their Presence from the office 365 to their RingCentral app for example when they are out of the office or in a scheduled vacation the RingCentral app will detect this status on their office 365 and will automatically put them on DND.

  19. We have identified an issue where our system does not fully support call validation from Google. The problem occurs because Google begins playing the validation code before the call is actually answered. This happens due to the greeting that RingCentral plays before the app or phone starts ringing, leading to the code being provided before the call is picked up.
