Social Media Comment Threads - Lock Ability
The problem:
- We manage hundreds of social media channels.
- When we run competitions, posts often get thousands of comments.
- Most comments don’t need a reply — but sometimes a customer service–related question appears in the middle of the thread.
- If we completely ignore a comment thread, we could miss those occasional important queries.
The feature request:
Allow us to “lock” a thread when we don’t need to respond further, so that if a new comment is added later, it appears as a new, separate thread — making it easier to spot and respond to.
Why it matters:
Without this, we…

change button shape and placement
Ability to change the placement/size/shape of button using visual library. You can do this but the default button shows after interactions.
It doesn't make sense to allow button changes but only before the customer interacts, the change should implement permanently on the chosen URL/site regardless of interaction.
Please see case 28193631 for further information along with a video.

RingCX Digital Message Notification Improvements
Digital interaction notifications in "My Messages" appear when an interaction dequeues to an agent.
Requeuing via "Transfer" (within the notification) removes the notification from the handling agent and shows a new notification for the agent to which the interaction dequeues.
However, transferring directly to another agent through "All Messages" keeps the notification with the initial agent, creating a three-party chat scenario.
To address this inconsistency, we propose unifying the behaviour for all transfers: remove the notification from the initial agent and display it for the receiving agent, matching queue transfer behaviour.

All Messages Conversation Search Enhancement
There should be a way the system understands the different ways a TN can be displayed/formatted and searched, but at present, it seems it needs to be exactly the same as the interaction shows in the history.
Please see the screenshots.
If a number is formatted in 3 different ways as it's used in RCX:
(734) 279-2221
17342792221
734-279-2221When you search by these formats, you only get see the exact format the text is searched as, instead of all instances in which the number can be formatted as. This causes an issue as you search for a customer's info and/or…

Spam detection for chats
Addition of a Spam Detection feature to chat channel. This feature will help identify and filter out unwanted or malicious content from users, ensuring a safer and more pleasant experience for all participants. The system should be capable of detecting spam messages such as repeated text, irrelevant links, offensive language, and other behaviors that typically indicate spam.

Ability to limit SMS channel selection when creating an outbound SMS message
When an agent generates a manual outbound SMS message, you have to select the channel to send the message from. The issue is that it shows every channel in the system, not just the channels/queues that agent is assigned to.
In our use case, agents have their own SMS queue but without the ability to restrict this, an agent can send an outbound SMS from any other agents queue or channel.
It would be ideal if there was a way to set a 'default' outbound channel instead of having to have the agent select a channel.

Last Called Agent (LCA) Functionality Required for Engage Messaging and Email Channel Types
We require the same “Last Called Agent” (LCA) capability for Engage Messaging and Email channels within Digital Queues as currently exists for Voice Queues. This will significantly improve customer experience by providing more efficient and personalised resolution to issues.
By reducing the need for clients to repeat information and details from previous interactions, this feature would potentially lower interaction durations. Furthermore, this capability is also essential in scenarios where agents receive commissions for successful sales, ensuring clients are routed back to the initial agent who provided consulting prior to the purchase of services or goods.

Move from generic email profile to existing or new Customer Profile
When we get RingCentral voicemail email notifications, we cannot move and merge the VM/email to an existing customer profile with out permanently associating the "notify@ringcentral.com" to that one customer account every time another comes in.
Example:
Ringcentral sends a VM notification email, sent from notify@ringcentral.com to our email queue.
The VM call from caller ID is from 734-999-9999.That number is associated with John Smith, a customer profile visible from a previous interaction
with that customer. We'd like to move that VM over to the John Smith profile manually (or via a workflow if possible by using the…

Seamless Digital Interaction Transfers to Another Agent
Agents require the ability to transfer a digital interaction easily and directly to another agent. This functionality is currently unavailable in 'My Messages' (Routing Mode) without the creation of personal queues for agents.
However, personal queues are not always a viable option because they:
- Substantially increase the Level of Effort for both initial implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Overcomplicate Analytics and Reporting, as interactions for a single channel are spread across multiple queues, which significantly hinders effective analysis.
- Pose a risk that interactions could be missed or lost in the event of an unexpected employee absence if forwarded to a personal…

When logging out of RCX or refreshing: digital tasks are immediately sent back to the queue.
When logging out of RCX or refreshing: mails in task mode assigned to an agent move to the Inbox instead of being kept on the task mode. the idea is to "keep" digital tasks assigned for a certain time with the same agent even if he refreshes the browser or disconnect from RingCX.

Change the Pre-chat form title heading from H1 to a regular span, or a lower heading level such as H3 or H4
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) It's the practice of improving a website or online content so that it ranks higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), especially on Google. The goal is to increase organic (non-paid) traffic to a website.
The client's website has embedded RingCX Pre-chat forms for Chat Channels. Currently, the website contains two H1 tags, one of which is used for the "Chat with us" section (RingCX Pre-chat form title, which has been modified to a different name but remains associated with an H1 tag). This presents an SEO issue because having multiple H1 tags can confuse search…

"Accept" and "Accept and Go" do the same thing when no active Interaction
In Ring CX, the "Accept" and "Accept and Go" buttons function the same when the Agent has no interaction currently in My Messages. However, this is contrary to the user expected behaviour. The user clicks the button "Accept" when they want to only accept the Interaction when it is offered to them, rather than accepting the Interaction and being take to it. However, when you click the "Accept" button and you have no current Interaction in My Message, the system will both accept the message and take you to the message.
I purpose to amend the design to fall within…

Feature Request: Reopen and Return Chats with No Customer Activity to Queue Instead of Direct Agent Assignment
Currently, chats with no customer activity are being directly routed and assigned to agents. Ideally, these chats should be automatically reopened and returned to the general queue instead of being assigned to individual agents. This change would help ensure that agents are only assigned active or relevant chats, improving efficiency and customer experience.
Additionally, if chats closed by customers and then routed to agents is the expected behavior, this request aims to provide an alternative flow for organizations preferring a different process.
We recommend considering this feature for future updates to offer more flexible chat routing options.
