    I suppose all these goals could be accomplished another way:
    RC could introduce permanence of hot desk logins from one day to another... removing the requirement to sign in every single morning.

    Then I could set up all phones across my org as hot-deskable "Common Area Phones".

    This would also resolve this issue.
