This idea is showing as implemented but I contacted support about this on 7/16/25 and was told that "normal" behavior is to see the caller ID of the person transferring the call rather than the caller ID of the original incoming call that is being transferred. Support told me that I had to create an idea or vote on this idea so it would get implemented. It seems that it works intermittingly but not all the time. It is very frustrating to colleagues who are working remotely, and a call is transferred to them, and it is not a staff member but a client call. If this is just a setting that I need to change I wish support would have told me. And if not, this idea needs to be reviewed again and fixed or updated NOW! So frustrating!

This is a very important feature for sure! The person who the call is being transferred to is confused as to who is calling them.

Yes! Need to see incoming caller ID when call is transferred to another extension. That way whomever the call is getting transferred to knows it's a client and not the staff member that is transferring the call.
