    Dear RingCentral Support Team,

I’m reaching out on behalf of our organization to request the implementation of a shared SMS feature—a capability already offered by platforms such as Vonage and Dialpad, which we use across our other companies.

This feature is critical to our business operations. Our customer-facing teams rely on centralized communication to ensure no inquiry goes unanswered. Currently, your system requires messages to be tied to individual users, but in our business model, SMS communication must come from a single monitored number managed by our entire administrative team.

    Why This Feature Is Essential:
Improved Customer Experience: Clients receive immediate responses from whichever team member is available, without being tied to one representative's availability.

Team Collaboration: Shared inbox functionality improves coordination, especially across remote teams and different time zones.

Lead Management: Our sales team can track interactions and follow up seamlessly when messages are centralized.

Efficiency & Accountability: Monitoring one shared SMS thread ensures a complete communication trail and better oversight for management.

Compliance & Security: A unified system creates a clear audit trail for client interactions, helping us meet internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Data Insights: Centralizing messaging enables stronger analytics, helping us refine workflows and improve responsiveness.

We kindly ask that you prioritize enabling a shared SMS feature that allows all users to send and receive text messages from our company’s main number. This will align your platform with modern business needs and help us remain competitive in our industry.

Thank you for your consideration. We’d be happy to discuss further or assist with testing such a feature if needed.
