When Android Auto Wireless is in use the RC app does not send through audio and tries to route the call through Wifi when no internet connection is available since it is only using wifi for the connection to Android Auto. We don't want to use our cell phone number for the calls. Direct dial data has only wifi or mobile data, wifi or carrier minutes only. You should add an option for Mobile Data Only that way RC app would not think the wifi connection is an actual live internet connection and would not use it.

  2. Allow us to enter specific contact information in recipient section of your FAX templates. In order to send a proper fax, we have to upload our own fax cover sheet.

  3. We service our customers on a simi annual basis and we lose the history of our SMS conversations with those customers every few months (it does not show up on the desktop app/mobile app). Currently, we have to start a "new" text conversation everytime we reach out to our customers because we do not know what was said during our previous converstion with them. It is VERY helpful to be able to see ALL of the communciation that we have had with that specific customer in the past! Please fix this.

  5. On the MVP application, having a team edit option that unlocks a checkbox for the teams and/or direct messages so that they can easily be selected and moved in to folders. Use cases: New team is added and you want to select all of the direct members at once and move them to a folder for easier organization. A new issue has come up and several new teams have been created, this would allow you to move all relevant chats to one folder. New manager needs to add all of their direct reports in to a folder.

  6. Banking and other account verification is done through short code texts, and currently RC doesn't have functionality to reply to those texts.

  7. Because in a meeting of 10 or 20 people. Members could go into a breakroom with whomever they wish to meet and have a dialogue in private then return to the main meeting to collaborate with the rest of the team. This allows for brainstorm sessions without having to wait for the meeting creator to assign them into a break out room. Thanks

  8. We can create a group SMS and it will show as sent as a group text . However, when a Tmobile number replies to the sent SMS to the group, we receive the response in an individual conversation. We cannot currenly send goups texts to Tmobile users. This happens in RC Phone and the RC Web/desktop app. Please advise!

  9. We found in RC's site a PowerShell script to uninstall all RC apps from our devices, however, we are experiencing some difficulties pushing the script with GPO and Intune. We would like some help from a RC engineer and provide us a better understanding of what we might be doing wrong and/or if such script is compatible or not with Intune and GPO.

  11. We have users that remove themselves from the call queue when they go on break, but then forget to put themselves back in. Even if we could select the time limit that they can take themselves out of queue, so that they would automatically go back in queue after 15 minutes. Select 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

  13. We would like to have a feature to over-ride a custom rule. There are custom rules that doesnt work because the system thinks there is a conflict between those 2 rules. Just like in my situation, when our did is dialed, we wanted the phone calls to be forwarded to our main number. It limits us from dialing the DID of the other extension. It goes to a loop.   14. It appears that sometimes when switching devices (for example, Windows PC App to my Android Smartphone app, there and back) the "time" for an outgoing call is WILDLY inaccurate. It's not clear if it only shows the time before the first (or second) change in switching the call, but it's cutting off someplace. It would be better if we can view the total duration of the call.

  18. When scheduling a RingCentral video meeting, the RC app defaults to "Outlook web calendar" which we are not using at our company. Employees have to keep changing back to "Calendar app" every time there's an update to the RC app. We need a way to default the calendar option for users so that they don't have to keep switching this setting back. Another option might be to set the default to the "Calendar app".

Currently users are forced to choose between the softphone application or a paired desk phone as the default device for calling out in the desktop app. Please consider a more unified experience where a user can select the app or device they want to use to make an outbound call on demand each time they initiate an outbound call and/or give better options for assigning the outbound device. This could be as simple as putting a dropdown on the main screen of the app where you select your primary calling device, or picklist everytime you click something in the app…
