  1. As more companies move to VDI for simplicity, standardization, and security, it would be nice if RingCentral worked across all of them. I've heard there is already SOME support for Citrix and/or AWS, but AVD is rapidly gaining adoption, particularly in the financial sphere. We have tested both the desktop app and the Teams integration, and it seems like they're really close to actually working in the virtual environment. Would be happy to help test and provide feedback if you'd like to develop further for VDI.

  2. Is there a current or planed integration that allows users to use an external app to send SMS messages or make and receive calls using their ringcentral number? The RingCentral mobile app is missing a number of features that are popular and available in most modern messaging apps. You can't reply to a message where the message you are replying to is quoted.   5. I generally find that there is a lot of padding around each message, wasting a lot of vertical space on the screen. This padding doesn't seem to decrease when I zoom out, only the font size decreases.

  7. There currently is no click to dial feature on iphone devices. this is a major problems for mobile technicians who are trying to dial a call while driving. it is extremely inefficient and dangerous to try and type out a phone number into the app while driving. This feature works on Ipad and Android devices but not on iphone which is a major problem. Please implement a fix so that when i click on a phone number in the phone it pops up with the option to dial from ringcentral

  8. I receive a lot of empty voicemails where people don't leave messages.Please add an option to RingCentral not to notify the user of these, and instead auto-delete these voicemails.

  9. Whichever app is used, IOS / Android or a PC, the location that calls are being from should be prominently displayed. Not popped up somewhere, but displayed in the app. Not doing so users could forget to update and calls to 911 showing up at the wrong location. Important when seconds can count... Sure, they read that pop up or email warning them about it... But if the app indicates the location name, it will help minimize this potential risk to an organization.

  10. SCIM initial sign-on for new users on different plugins for RC works fine. However, the teams plugins require the user to be activated/signed on to RC before being able to log in through there. SCIM is there so that the user is able to get their credentials off of AD, but the teams plugin does not allow this

  12. Please add 159 to RingCentral dialing plan so we can dial it directly from the RC App. This 159 number is critical to the business as 159 is a short-code phone service that connects people safely to their bank's fraud prevention service.

To have the options to apply these configurations:1) prevent the application from prompting unprivileged users to initiate and update that they cannot apply.2) trigger the application of an update in a non-interactive manner from a privileged account such as a script run by a mobile device Management platform.

It would be nice for Ring Central to be able to recognize when a user has locked their computer and update their presence to "Idle" or something similar, noting that the user is briefly away from their desk. Our policy is to lock your system when not in use, so if somebody locks their system and walks away to help somebody with something, it would be nice for Ring to reflect that the user is not available/idle/away, so that they're not still receiving calls, appearing to be available. Otherwise, users have to remember to change this every time they step…

  18. Use headset control buttons to answer, end, and mute phone calls with blue tooth headphones. We can use the earbuds but the controls don't work and the "connect" button is gone in the new version of the app (https://support.ringcentral.com/mvp/phone/phone-ringcentral-app/integrating-headset-with-ringcentral-app.html) in the Setting up USB HID devices.

  20. Currently, Deskphone Pairing is able to be used with Yealink T54W desk phones but the ability to start conference calls disappears when it's turned on. Officially, the Yealink T54Ws aren't supported with Deskphone Pairing but we would like to see full support for this once Deskphone Pairing is fully released.
